Let me answer your question, since I always assume that lefties who refuse to answer questions are not really convinced of their stated beliefs, but are only coming to the board to virture signal to those who are.
First of all, he was NOT sent to CECOT. The process played out, and it was found that technically he is a U.S. Citizen.
No, he
is a US citizen, there is no "technically a US citizen". - BS.
Second of all, I say "technically," because he speaks neither English nor Spanish, but only a native language.
One's nationality is not determined by one's language. - More BS.
No doubt that made communicating with him impossible. This is exactly the kind of "U.S. Citizen" through "birthright citizenship" that the American voter elected Donald Trump to put a stop to.
How does a traffic stop mutate into an immigration arrest? More BS.
Clearly the man has no interest in assimilating into the U.S. even though he was born here.
He has every right to do as he pleases within the bounds of the law and constitution. More BS.
The left pretends to be afraid that every brown person will be suspected of being an illegal alien. That paranoid fantasy will not happen. But a person who has spent so much time in the U.S. and never learned a word of English? Yes, that will raise suspicion. Legal immigrants yearning to breathe free learn English as fast as they can. Illegals rely on "free" U.S. schools to teach their children who are recruited as translators.
Yes that suspicion was clearly unfounded. More BS.
You want to generate sympathy, I'd have more for a kid brought here by parents who worked hard in school, has a scholarship to become a doctor and now may be subject to deportation. But since Trump isn't going after those types, but the worst of the worst, my sympathy hasn't kicked in yet.
Your personal biases have no bearing on the facts of the matter. More BS.
Third, to answer the question fully, in the very unlikely event that a person with a valid Georgia birth certificate were deported and sent to CECOT, Trump would simply tell Bukele that a mistake had been made and to please send the American citizen back to his country of origin.
Yet Trump has said repeatedly there is
nothing he can do, that those people are a matter for the El Salvador government. Secondly this is why it's essential that court hearings precede any deportation to a hellhole life imprisonment in a place like CECOT. There is no process to address these wrongful imprisonments, none and that's what all the heated arguing is about.
Explain why these people should not be given a hearing before being sent to CECOT? on what basis can anyone other than a Nazi, object to such basic safety checks?
So how would one convince anyone that the man was in fact a US citizen? Tell me, how? what could anyone do, how would his case differ from so many others? We have accusations and nothing more for some of these men, so more BS.
But, of course, mistakes by ICE are very rare, and ICE did exactly the right thing. They investigated a suspicious person, likely on a tip from one of the officers involved in the traffic stop, found no legal reason to hold him and let him go.
ICE made no effort to establish his nationality. We had a competent Judge verify he was in fact a US citizen yet the system was powerless to release him, that's a broken system. So more BS.
This is a case for the left to celebrate since their worst fears did not come true.
This is a case that highlights the risks of deporting US citizens, had the man lived alone or had no copy of his birth certificate to hand, he would likely not have been released and perhaps even worse.
CECOT is a monstrous institution, abuses are rife, innocent young men are incarcerated and if you had an education you'd have researched this. I knew of CECOT years ago, you'd know how the government are rounding up anyone with a tattoo and incarcerating them for life without trial. Some are indeed scum, violent filth who'd decapitate you for a dollar but there are innocent men being caught up, this has been reported for some time
why don't you know? why don't you care?
I absolutely support a harsh sentence for violent criminals like those in these Latin American gangs, they are the worst of the worst, I know all about them, likely more than you do. But CECOT bypasses basic tenets of justice, it is a modern gulag, no civilized nation should have anything to do with such a regime, it is the antithesis of all that I thought the United States stood for.
Rounding people up and incarcerating them without charge and without trial and with no process for correcting wrongs, is what is taking place in the United States and if you knew anything of the history of fascism in Europe you'd grasp that. The Western world fought against that extreme mutation of nationalist ideology tooth and claw almost a century ago.
During WW2 Japanese US citizens were afforded more time and more rights here than these hapless men, yet we are not at war! Venezuela has not bombed Pearl Harbor and even the US intelligence agencies all recently attested to that yet the lies continue unabated and repeated by fools like you.
Finally I suggest you change your moniker to
Seemore Bullshit because that's all you've shown me.
