The Wikileaks guy says the Democrats will lose even more elections going forward if they try to ride this lie for an extended period of time.

Why do you love Putin and Assange - but hate America? Putin is a brutal dictator. Assange is an accused rapist holed up in the Ecuador Embassy in London.

At this point the D's are in such deep shit with their donors that to continue on the Boris Badenov, Natasha and Fearless Leader excuse train will just further piss off their donors who spent billions on all the races.

Not that I want them to do it :) but unless the DNC conducts an autopsy of these failed electoral cycles that have lost them over a 1000 positions under Obama, they will see the well dry up.

No way on the planet are the donors going to buy into "the Russians did it boo hoo" bullshit.

Putin isn't a dictator. That's bullshit. And considering your team albeit with McCain and Graham and a few other R's embraced the terror organization of the Muslim Brotherhood you need to really reconsider who you back in the future. Morsi who they loved was a brutal dictator. Just ask the Coptic Christians.

As to Assange and the rape? Pffffffffffffft. The women accused him of not wearing a condom. That's rape in Sweden. It's straight he said and she said. No proof.

Just like there's no evidence the Russians hacked the election. Not one machine was tampered with.

The presidency of Donald Trump is fatally wounded before it begins because he got to the Oval Office via the Kremlin.

You would never accept his Presidency as legitimate anyway. And his supporters don't give a flying rats ass if you do or you don't.

What if the russians really did it? Why do you wish to allow a act of war to be committed against America without a response.

Well Matthew do you believe that the countries that we've interfered with have a right to go after our governments?

Like Egypt. Like Libya. Like Syria. Like the Ukraine. Like 123 world leaders and over 1,000 targets that we've spied on?

Only President Obama can order a response to the Russian hacks and their subsequent use by the head of the FBI and Wikileaks. Part of the response has been the deportation of dozens of Russian agents and their families. We are waiting for more responses but President Obama is running out of time and Moscow's man in the Oval Office will probably invite the Russian agents back with an apology.

U.S. intercepts capture senior Russian officials celebrating Trump win

Senior officials in the Russian government celebrated Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton as a geopolitical win for Moscow, according to U.S. officials who said that American intelligence agencies intercepted communications in the aftermath of the election in which Russian officials congratulated themselves on the outcome.

The ebullient reaction among high-ranking Russian officials — including some who U.S. officials believe had knowledge of the country’s cyber campaign to interfere in the U.S. election — contributed to the U.S. intelligence community’s assessment that Moscow’s efforts were aimed at least in part at helping Trump win the White House.

Other key pieces of information gathered by U.S. spy agencies include the identification of “actors” involved in delivering stolen Democratic emails to the WikiLeaks website, and disparities in the levels of effort Russian intelligence entities devoted to penetrating and exploiting sensitive information stored on Democratic and Republican campaign networks.

Those and other data points are at the heart of an unprecedented intelligence report being circulated in Washington this week that details the evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign and catalogues other cyber operations by Moscow against U.S. election systems over the past nine years.

The classified document, which officials said is over 50 pages, was delivered to President Obama on Thursday, and it is expected to be presented to Trump in New York on Friday by the nation’s top spy officials, including Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr. and CIA Director John Brennan.

Given the president-elect’s skepticism about the intelligence community — particularly its conclusions about Russia — the Trump Tower briefing has taken on the tenor of a showdown between the president-elect and the intelligence agencies he has disparaged.

“The Russians felt pretty good about what happened on Nov. 8 and they also felt pretty good about what they did,” a senior U.S. official said.

U.S. officials declined to say whether the intercepted communications were cited in the classified version of the report commissioned by Obama, and they emphasized that although the messages were seen as strong indicators of Moscow’s intent and clear preference for Trump, they were not regarded as conclusive evidence of Russian intelligence agencies’ efforts to achieve that outcome.

“There are a variety of different exhibits that make the case, different factors that have provided the intelligence community with high confidence” that Russia sought in part to help elect Trump, said a second senior U.S. official who has reviewed intelligence findings on Russia’s cyber operations.

Now I know many of you have tendencies to label any news source that doesn't tow your ideological line as "Fake News". But you still should read this, you're going to see a lot more of this in the coming days.

The Deplorables would have us believe that Russia didn't do it, and that Assange did it entirely on his own just for the lulz.

10% of the population either believes this because they're stupid, or pretend to believe it because they hate America.

Russia DID do it, they did it to throw the election to Trump. Were they successful? We don't know how many voters switched because of the leaks. But what we do know is that Russia intended to throw the election.

Now there are those that say everyone spies on everyone, so "if" Russia hacked us it's only fair.

No it isn't. It's one thing for a country's top-secret-clearance people to dissect information, it's something else entirely to release it to the public with a specific nefarious goal in mind.

There are those that say we're better off that the democrats were exposed as being meanies.

Not unless the same level of material was released about every party involved. The infodump was entirely DNC emails, nothing from the Green or Libertarian parties or the RNC. Clearly an outside entity was trying to influence our election.

You Deplorables might want to do yourselves a favor and read up on the Logan Act.

Too funny! Of course they were thrilled that Trump was elected. Just as many who were pro Brexit were partying. Did that mean it was a Brit who hacked?

Let alone happy dances all over Israel. I still think they were the ones that hacked the DNC in retaliation for Obama trying to overthrow Bibi by backing the opposition party.

The pro Brexit people had a good reason to hack the DNC as well as oh Egypt, Libya, Syria, Yemen hackers. The D's have a lot of enemies.

Pfffffffffffffft. Do you not know how many countries detest the D's? Not just the Russians that's for sure. If I was a Syrian displaced by Obama wanting to overthrow Assad I'd have hacked the DNC.

Israel for certain. I put up more possibilities in another post. Bottom line there are so many who hate the D's.
Don't forget the NSA under Obama spied on 123 world leaders and global corporations.

Busted for targeting over a 1,000 targets. Many enemies out there.

Tinyderpster, I'll bet a month's rent that US intelligence agencies know more about this than you do.

Russia attacked a major basic foundation that this country was built on and over 1.1 million Americans died fighting for. That is very, very serious for the United States security.
You want to play politics with the whole thing. I'm positive that all those who gave their lives for America, are rolling in their graves over your enthusiasm to drop the subject because it's meaningless.
Yes, I didn't vote for Trump, but then I didn't vote for Clinton either.
