Developing professional sports is not under the purview of the federal gov't.

And, in case you missed the news, Donald Trump is no longer the POTUS.

But he probably did as much as Biden, Obama, Clinton and other presidents.

He heavily supported MMA and boxing. Thats all i care about. All those games with balls are uninteresting to me.

The NBA, NFL, and MLB are all private entities.

America's fixation with sports, especially school sports is positively neurotic.

Sports are a pastime, that's it. If you enjoy it, then form a club comprised of people who enjoy it. Combine your resources for a venue, equipment, transportation, and so on. If people are willing to pay to watch you play, then exploit that. What could be simpler than that?

Government has NO BUSINESS in sports, except possibly to address restraint of trade/monopoly issues and things of that sort. No school should have any sports team, for any purpose. School is for education. Sports are for fun. Never the twain should meet.

We went astray when women's sports was massively uplifted giving much needed resources that men need to them.
