Over the years Donald Trump has said some very abrasive things about women. His stance on women's healthcare, and reproductive rights have been especially harsh, yet he didn't suffer much loss of female support at election time. In 2024 Harris had the advantage among women, winning 53% to Trump’s 46% - an 8% advantage. Noteworthy yes, but far smaller than what was predicted; smaller even than in 2020, when Biden won 55% of women, while 43% went for Trump. It seems the "female outrage" was confined to a smaller group than we were led to believe.
