In the 90s the terrorists portrayed in video games were transhumanists who tried to use science to take over the world. Fast forward to the present and the terrorists we have now are nothing but cavemen with medieval ideology who often blow themselves up trying to build bombs.
The 90s were also filled with sci fi like "Star Trek" and "Men in Black". Now no one with the exception of the super wealthy care about advancing humanity's space technology.
In the 90s we were excited by science and technology. Now many parts of society reject both.
People were also thinner and healthier in the 90s.
What has happened to us?
We used to dream! We used to aspire!
Why have we stopped pushing ourselves mentally and physically?
