What drives someone to be a democrat?

Unfortunately, there's a lunatic fringe that has driven a wedge into politics, which has pretty much ignored all other political parties, except the Dems and Reps.

Not everybody who is a Dem is a greedy, narcissistic, peodophile, money grubbing piece of deranged shit.
Just like everybody who is Rep is not a know-it-all, self-righteous, ego driven, "do as I say" Christian.

Get to know people for WHO they are, not WHAT you think they are.
You might be shocked to find that most people aren't like the media portrays us all.

There ARE a couple of Dems on this site that DO listen to reason. And sometimes they DO make sense in what they talk about.
We don't have to agree with them, but if they are making sense and being considerate in not calling people names, then I tend to like to debate with them.

I ask because if you really listen to what their leaders and sources say, its all tall tales free of objectivity. It can't be traditional democrat speak, because trump objectively represents much of that, and as a result, the democrats have left that reasoning behind.

Is it their squeaky wheels, which are primarily unhappy women who lead by emotions at the cost of rational thought? How about those with mental issues, who represent much of what the left have become?

Is it the democrats marketing racism that makes the party attractive?

Is it the their policies creating an environment for "inmates to run the prison"?

Perhaps their high taxes while their cities are riddled with chaos, crime and welfare?

Perhaps they're simply drawn to contrary thought and behavior?

If Democrats are in a EU country the are considered a Center Right Party...

And those countries have far better fiscal responsibility, universal healthcare.....

Lunacy is apparently what makes people Republicans because everything you posted is insane. When you use per capita, small red towns are the most crime-ridden and poor towns in this country. Many of the most dangerous towns on a per capita basis are red. The party marketing racism is the Republican Party.
