But yet here you are. What do you think of Herman Cain?
I do not waste time on that.
1. He's a naive and bumbling novice.
2. He's a religious bigot.
3. He has no chance.
Obama met the first two of those.

I LOVE his stance on illegal immigration but I am unsure of what else he believes in. Quite frankly, I'd vote for him based on illegals alone.

I live in Atlanta and have listened to Cain for a couple of years now, and was genuinely excited when he announced he was going to run.
After the first debate, where he was declared by most to be the clear winner, I donated and considered volunteering.
But beyond his rhetorical statements there really isn't any substance. Then there were those Muslim comments. Restricting the religious freedoms of anyone is wrong, and what he said was pure populism appealing to outwardly narrow minded Tennessee hicks.
His campaign is over.

I'd vote for him but he has little name recognition and about as much experience in politics as the current former community activist.
You talking about the guy who served in the Illinois State Senate, the US Senate and taught Constitutional Law at the University Level for 10 years and served on the Board of Directors at the Conservative Annenberg Foundation? That's the guy with so little experience?
Oh, that's right. I forgot. He's black. How could he know anything important. Not like Conservatives.
You know that a certain Governor who will probably be the next Republican Candidate knows so little about the constitution, he thinks you can drop out of the union because that was the agreement when his state became a state.
Yea, you might want to google a picture of Herman Cain.
Genuine question - can you get any more stupid?

That can only mean you love career politicians.

How about we set the record fully straight here? Cain did not say he would not have Muslims in his cabinet or as judges. He said he would not be comfortable with that due to the Muslim stance on Sharia Law which is contrary to our Constitution. For the record, I also would not be comfortable with that unless I was certain the Muslim was like M. Zuhdi Jasser who I would trust with ANYTHING. I'm pretty sure Herman Cain would have zero problems with Dr. Jasser either.

And even if Cain rejected Sharia-supporting Muslim as you are I might reject anarchists or communists or members of the Nazi party in our organization, that would NOT be a violation of the First Amendment.

How about *I* set the record straight. I was most clear I was referring to immigration issues and I was unsure of what else he believed in. At least he's honest about his bigotry unlike the total lack of honesty in any other politician. Do I like bigotry? Oh HELL no, but at least you know where this bigot stands. None of the other politicians are (stupid enough) to be honest about what they really want and believe. They are out for themselves and how to get votes. It's no longer about the people but individual politicians.
I would rather have a bigot that is honest about it vs. a liar who doesn't give a rip about the entire country. Never thought I would ever write that but it's true.

Clearly Mr. Cain disagrees with you:

In addition to your ignorance as to what constitutes a First Amendment violation, you’re also ignorant as to Sharia, as it is in no way like communism or being a member of the Nazi party; it is indeed religion.
To not hire as a public sector employment entity per the president's established policy an individual based solely on his religion – regardless your incorrect ‘understanding’ of that religion - is clearly a violation of the Free Exercise Clause and Federal law with regard to hiring practices.
CAVUTO: So, what if they told you, a prospective Cabinet member in a Cain administration, look, I'm Muslim, but I -- I would honor all of the above--(the Declaration and the Constitution of the United States and the laws of this country)--and I would not be necessarily for Sharia law?
CAIN: Then, in that case, I would certainly consider that individual.
But, see, my motivation for saying, no, I wouldn't, was based upon the fact that they are trying to push Sharia law off on this country. And I'm simply not going to try and be politically correct in order to help facilitate that.
But if they were to give me a commitment, and they had some very critical skills bring to the administration for the good of this country, of course I would consider them.
