What do you think about "touchy feely" people

If my hugs are long at all, it is due to how much death I have endured over the past 30 years. My first funeral was either this month 30 years ago or last month. Anyway, since then, because of my extended family being as big as it is/was, I've been to so many funerals, I can't remember them all.

God bless you always!!!

6 ft rule long before Covid.

I really hate when the close talker has horrible breath.
Then I recommend that you don't go to the middle east. They like to get a bit close for comfort. But if you back off, it can be construed as distrust.

Too bad for them… I’m contagious.
What a great back of a t-shirt saying. ;)

Maybe combine it with this:

There are people out there known for being "touchy feely".

This means they are LITERALLY hands on people...........that like to hug a lot, touch your arm/shoulder/waist/leg when talking to you, or just be "up in your personal space".

They aren't sexual or making passes.......they are just very tactile people.

What do you think of them?

Are you one of them?

Personally, I can take a hug. But not long ones.

As for just being touchy feely, I don't like it. I consider it "raping my personal space".

I'm all for hugs, handshakes, shoulder pats, etc....when the time is right and it's called for........but not someone who just has to be all over you when they are talking to you. No. Just no.

There are hugs, then there is gropping. I have seen a lot of both. At church Baptist tend to hug a lot, I just extend my hand for a handshake before they hug. That useualy keeps them at an arm's length distance.
