The Communists outright executed at least 60,000 South Vietnamese and sent another 800,000-plus to brutal concentration camps ("reeducation" camps), where the death rate was at least 5% due to harsh treatment, torture, and neglect. Why do you suppose some 2 million people fled on boats after the North Vietnamese took over? Heard of the "boat people"?

Tang was not only a Viet Cong leader but a minister in the Viet Cong's shadow government, the PRG. He was a huge admirer of Ho Chi Minh.

Tang became so shocked and disillusioned by the brutality of Communist rule that he eventually fled the country.

I know this because about 73,000 Americans were killed every year in Vietnam, which is equivalent to how many Americans die every year from Fentanyl overdoses coming across the border and funded by your comrades who are the communist Chinese.

If you remember, the Chinese sided with the Khymir Rouge against Vietnam, and China invaded Vietnam for a bit.

The only reason anyone dies from Fentanyl is that the drug is not legal so there is no known dose concentration.

Yea, we saw their determination to fight for their country when the U.S. loaded them up with military equipment and flew out of their country. We left them to die at the hands of the communists, who believed in their cause. The government of South Vietnam could not believe in their own cause, because that was controlled by the United States.

It would appear we doubled down in Afghanistan, actually prolonging that war by twice the amount of time as we did Vietnam. How did the Afghan army do with all the military equipment we loaded them up with after 20 solid years of training?

They gave up in a week.

Please don't think anyone wants to fight for an occupier, those who do have no chance of victory when forced to fight against those who don't.
