Taiwan is not part of Vietnam eitherWrong sub-forum, has nothing to do with the Vietnam War.
I would suggest Religion and Ethics, Conspiracy Theories, or the Rubber Room for further discussion on that.
noThis thread is about the Vietnam War.
Are you a moron?
The Yellow Pearl-Clutchers Have Brought Back the "Yellow Peril"Other than Tibet in 1950 and the Philippines as recently as last week
And I know your excuse so I’ll cut to the chase
Just because china claims foreign territory as part of china does not make it so
Epitaph on the Vietnam War Memorial: PROUD TO DIE TAKING A RICH KID'S PLACEAfter the war VC general Giap admitted he was out of troops and out of operations after the last gasp in the Tet offensive. Walter Cronkite donned a helmet and went to Vietnam and pretended to be under fire declared the hard won American Tet victory to be a "stalemate". LBJ too the hint and surrendered.
The Pro-War Daddies of Pro-War Draftdodgers Committed First Degree MurderYou sound like a stuck record.
Birth-Class Hatred RevealedYes it was all a jolly jape a little bit like Summer camp but with shredded kids and Napalm.
The Monroe Doctrine was used to keep imperialist euro’s from dominating the Western HemisphereThe Yellow Pearl-Clutchers Have Brought Back the "Yellow Peril"
Both China and Russia have a right to their own Monroe Doctrines. Ever since JFK let Cuban patriots get slaughtered on the beaches of the Bay of Pigs, we've been pissing on Monroe's grave. Just because our Infloozies are unpatriotic cowards, Neo-Con-men want the Chinese to be the same.
Only if you believe the Communist version of history. No i've corrected you, as for South Vietnam they collaborated with Colonialism and Imperialism, it's that simple.
Executed 60000, who told you that? and the others needed reeducating to be proud of their Country and it's battle for decades to free itself from brutal Colonialism and Imperialism, yes i have heard of the boat people many were collaborators, one of the final acts of American spite was to fill aircraft with Vietnamese children kidnapped form Orphanages and fly them out.Only if you believe the Communist version of history.
Do you know what happened to the South Vietnamese when your heroes the North Vietnamese took over? The Communists outright executed at least 60,000 South Vietnamese and sent another 800,000-plus to brutal concentration camps ("reeducation" camps), where the death rate was at least 5% due to harsh treatment, torture, and neglect. Why do you suppose some 2 million people fled on boats after the North Vietnamese took over? Heard of the "boat people"?
If you ever decide to educate yourself on the Vietnam War, I suggest you start with a book by a former Viet Cong leader, A Vietcong Memoir: An Inside Account of the Vietnam War by Truong Nhu Tang. Tang was not only a Viet Cong leader but a minister in the Viet Cong's shadow government, the PRG. He was a huge admirer of Ho Chi Minh.
Tang became so shocked and disillusioned by the brutality of Communist rule that he eventually fled the country.
This is news to you?! Yikes. 60,000 is considered a conservative figure for the number of executions.Executed 60000, who told you that?
Oh my goodness, you are a real live Communist. So the hundreds of thousands of South Vietnamese sent to the concentration camps "needed" to be sent there "to be proud of their Country"! Wow. Alrighty.and the others needed reeducating to be proud of their Country and it's battle for decades to free itself from brutal Colonialism and Imperialism, yes i have heard of the boat people many were collaborators, one of the final acts of American spite was to fill aircraft with Vietnamese children kidnapped form Orphanages and fly them out.
