Zone1 what comes to your mind if you think of Ireland?

An economy that at one time was booming with Customer Service and telemarketing jobs. They were actually booming at one point.

That was perhaps 10 years ago, I'm not sure how they fare of late.

I think of my great aunt Jennie, an Irish war bride that my great uncle married. A lovely little woman who talked constantly from the time she got up until she went to bed. Sent us a box of homemade sugar and peanut butter cookies every summer. Most were all broken up, but we loved them anyway.
 
Traced a many times great Grandfather that was born in Northern Ireland in the late 17th century.

That country about a day away from my 19th century ancestors on the Isle of Man by boat, but only about 3% of my genes by Ancestry.com.
