Hot mic captures moment UFC star is told not to mention fighter pay in interview I have heard rumors of for years that what is told in the media of athletes pay and what really is their pay is two different things . Boxing is a good example. Some time back I was told it was 50 bucks for what a four-round fighter gets when all is said and done—Is anyone here with any information on the real pay of athletes in general? I had always thought those big multi-million dollar contracts were mostly hype.
