It is so much fun to do "mock drafts" with 8 different trades.
The first thing required for a DRAFT TRADE is a DESIRE to TRADE UP. That desire is missing.
NOBODY wants to trade up.
NOBODY is really sure who the best player is, either at QB or DL.
The Chicago Bears are hyping another horrid QB class. The hype is absolutely laughable
Bryce Young is not close to being worth a #1 overall pick. Maybe a LATE First, with a team with a really good OL already in place...
The others are not worth First Round picks.
CJ Stroud is a disaster and Ohio State told him he would NOT START if he stayed. For every good throw/decision he makes, he makes a bad one. No real progress on that "learning curve" area either.
Levis and Richardson showed their "learning curves" by losing late last year to VANDY.... Levis could not beat out Clifford at Penn State. Richardson would grade higher as a TE prospect than a QB...
HELLO, you do not deserve a FIRST ROUND GRADE if as QB of KY or FLA you LOST TO VANDY.
You deserve UND....
And THAT is the problem for the Chicago Bears, who want to trade down, but have ZERO ABILITY to do that because there is nobody worth trading up for...
according to the GM of one of the teams the gurus keep showing in the mocks as trading up....
and why the Texans are now pursuing Jimmy G = because they DO NOT LIKE THE QBs in the Draft for GOOD REASON
