I'm skipping passing out treats this year. (Although I'm not skipping eating them lol) As I'm going to go see Venom part III and before that I'm going out to BJ's Brew House and getting this as a dessert.


Oh yes and I'm also carving a pumpkin.

The grandkids, their parents and whomever feels like it are coming over, good food, lotsa laughs, handfuls of candy for the kids and who knows I may even have a glass of wine..

Out for a steak dinner. It will be my 66 birthday. Just cousins came to our house for trick or treat we lived on a narrow dirt road near an abandoned claypit . Our place looked spooky at nighttime.

Oh now I remember. That's that one day out of there year when you can legally scare the bejesus out of people and extort them for candy.

If I really wanted to do that, I'd dress up like Trump, go to town, and set some Harris/Walz yard signs on fire and poop on their door steps.

But I won't because that's not really something I'd do.

My mom loves to hand out the candy, but of course, we have to get kids who come to our door first. Sadly, with our house being on the kind of street that it is on, sometimes we don't get any kids and even if we do get any, we never get very many.

I love those movies too. Currently finishing watching the Purple People Eater on YouTube before I watch the Trump speech. Oh and FYI, that dessert is called a Spooky Pizookie.

My wife is big on decorations, and Halloween is one of her favorites. We always buy a ton of candy for the theoretical purpose of passing it out to kids who come up to our door. But we live in a townhouse where we have had a total of ten kids at the door in the past three years. The grandkids might pop over for a minute (12F, 10F, and 7M).

I used to love going to Turtle Creek in Dallas on Halloween. They block off the streets, and theres a huge Halloween party for 4 blocks.
Ah, the costumes.......geez. I sure as hell miss that.

Haven't been since the late 90's.

Since then, I don't do anything. Never lived in any apartment complex that had any significant number of kids to actually cause me to decorate or hand out candy. Most apartments frown on that now anyways.

So, its just another boring day.
