What do you mean when you use or see that term "race relations?"
I never use it, not anyone in my circle, or anyone I know.
Honestly, the only people I see/hear using that term are whites in the media (particularly "conservative" media outlets) and here on USMB.
What does that term really mean?
Which cities are experiencing the carnage descried in Polishprince 's post?the majority of the country gets along,, its just the dem cities where all the hate and violence is the norm,,
Racial reconciliation for what? Please expound.Largely that we learn from each about both the frictions and commonalities between races. Best done WITHOUT government interference and on a personal level.. If both aren't learning anything valuable, it aint working.
Race "relations" should lead to racial reconciliation.. It's the direct OPPOSITE of "CRTheory" which enforces a NEW type of re-segregation.. And a lot of fancy degreed race and gender studies people wouldn't HAVE a future if race relations and reconciliation was the preferred path..
not seeing where he describe carnage,, but chicago, new york and a few others are always a hot spot,,Which cities are experiencing the carnage descried in Polishprince 's post?the majority of the country gets along,, its just the dem cities where all the hate and violence is the norm,,
Interesting...For me to be more sensitive to black history and current REAL racism -- and then lecture YOU about screwing up "race relations" by claiming everything - math, science, history, black people on grocery products, and soap dispensers are all evidence of systemic racism....
I think I'm more sensitive to black history now than Gramps Biden is when he poops on Jim Crow era racism as a mild inconvenience... But I could learn.. Maybe I'm taking Jim Crow WAAAY too seriously.
LOL...

What do you mean by race conscious? You're not under the impression that calling all whites "systemic oppressors" and racist is a GOOD PLAN? Are you? Not gonna fly when you overplay this shit.. Better to improve on the original plan of burying some hatchets and making deals to co-exist as equals..
In case you've been in ecstasy about "systemic racism" being the big threat --- I'm sure you and I could find a dozen areas in Civil Liberties that we agree to work on...
That's why the deal of the century is reconcilation -- NOT "re-segregation".. We dont WANT to be the MOST RACE CONCIOUS society on the planet -- do we?
You have a circle? I never use “race relations” nor do I use the term “anyone in my circle”.What do you mean when you use or see that term "race relations?"

Rubber Room...Race Relations/Racism...What an idiotic thread! How does this not get moved to the rubber room?
It is a horse betting term. What do you mean when you use or see that term "race relations?"

Is this a good faith question or just another excuse to swing your virtue around?Seriously? What is CRaceTheory? Is it not AMPLIFYING racial distance and putting color ahead of everything else in personal relations and govt policy?
Why is it that party of slavery, segregation, Jim Crow and decades of ACTUAL systemic racism in government still WANTS this to be the bedrock of their agenda. They've even called systemic racism a CAUSE of Global Warming.. You CANNOT GET MORE race fixated than that. Even puts the 3rd Reich to shame..

If left up to the individual, blacks would still be either slaves or in Jim Crow. And you don't know what CRT is if that's what you think about it. Your version of racial reconciliation is that we do what whites tell us and thats not reconciliation. Laws are for everybody not an individual here and there. Finally the only people without a future if racial reconciliation takes place are racist whites males who depend on their whiteness for upward mobility. What do you mean when you use or see that term "race relations?"

When the term systemic racism is used, it is in reference to the American systems and institutions therein. Drop the white fragility, it gets old, all the dumb ass statements about how we are blaming all whites because you don't have the testicular fortitude to listen to what we have to say based on our experience here. No one is talking about resegregation idiot. But in order to reconcile, first you have to fix the problem. In order to fix the problem, you have to first know the root cause of the problem. You are not going to fix problems caused by at least 2 and one half centuries of continuous race concious policies favoring whites by not considering race in the solution.Interesting...For me to be more sensitive to black history and current REAL racism -- and then lecture YOU about screwing up "race relations" by claiming everything - math, science, history, black people on grocery products, and soap dispensers are all evidence of systemic racism....

The republican party is the party of the 1876 Compromise that ended reconstruction and paved the way for Jim Crow.
