California Gov. Gavin Newsom joined Tesla CEO Elon Musk at a press conference Wednesday to announce the electric vehicle's global engineering headquarters will be in Palo Alto, California.

OK, I know Musk is not known for his staunch Republicanism, although he did criticize CA's over-regulation and over-taxation (which is what Republicans always do).

But I am disappointed in this move back to CA, even though the HQ remains in (OMG again) Austin, TX.

Austin is probably the most liberal city in TX, competing for Most Liberal in USA IMO...
