The Westchester investigation was dropped with no charges filed. The case was about values of a golf course he owned in that suburb, It does not sound enough for it to be criminal or that Trump would be put in jail but it would be up to the Winchester DA. It was on one specific properties in that area.

The other investigation that he is being sued for under valuating properties to lower taxes on multiple properties. It sounds to inclusive of more of what Trump owns. IF he is being sued it sounds like a civil case. Of course it depends on what they find.

At the same time, Trump and his company are accused of inflating the value of assets to impress lenders and business associates. New York’s attorney general, Letitia James, sued Trump and the Trump Organization last year, alleging they provided banks and others false information about his net worth and the value of assets such as hotels and golf courses.
