West Virginia leads the way. Far more advanced than the Neanderthal blue states.Federal court upheld the state of West Virginia's ban on chemical abortion drug mifepristone, despite its approval by the FDA. Looks like New York and California will get more telemed calls.
West Virginia’s near-total abortion pill ban upheld by federal court
The court upheld West Virginia’s 2022 law banning mifepristone for abortions in most cases.
A divided federal appeals court on Tuesday allowed West Virginia to restrict access to mifepristone, the pill used to end pregnancies that has emerged as a focal point of legal battles over abortion.
The decision marks the first time a federal appeals court has allowed a state to strictly limit the drug, teeing up a key test of states’ powers to ban medication approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
Mifepristone is the first part of a two-drug regimen for abortion. The medication has been used in more than half of all abortions since 2022, when the Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization struck down the constitutional right to the procedure, according to the Guttmacher Institute, a policy group that supports reproductive rights.
Following the Dobbs decision, West Virginia passed a law banning surgical and medication abortions with limited exceptions, including to save the life of the mother or in cases of rape and incest. Abortion providers face felony charges under the state’s law.
Every immoral act seems to have far reaching unforeseen consequences.Interesting take.
I'm more interested in the toxicity of the pills...If they're killing off the zygote/fetus, what long term effects are they having on the women who take the pills?...And no, I don't trust the damned FDA's opinion on the matter.
Only in slack jawed yokel ChristoTaliban land.West Virginia leads the way. Far more advanced than the Neanderthal blue states.
But yet they are miles ahead morally. Most of the canonized saints were poor also. Why do you hate poor people?Only in slack jawed yokel ChristoTaliban land.
in the real world, thank God for Louisiana and Mississippi, because West Virginia is ranked #46 IN THE NATION.

Figures you think they are great with #47 in education, #47 in economy, and #49 in Health Care.
Don't seem like it, as they don't educate or provide health care for the kids or mothers. FOrced Birth Paradise. But yet they are miles ahead morally.
Why do you support a state that's #49 in that? Why do YOU hate poor people? Most of the canonized saints were poor also. Why do you hate poor people?
West Virginia has a long history of being exploited and raped by Democrat rule. It takes time to recover from that. With this anti-abortion legislation, it looks like they are making positive stepsDon't seem like it, as they don't educate or provide health care for the kids or mothers. FOrced Birth Paradise.

why would you want a smaller workforce? What you should be promoting is less conceptions so we have a smaller workforce.
Standard excuse. Forced birth doesn't help your healthcare or education standards.West Virginia has a long history of being exploited and raped by Democrat rule. It takes time to recover from that. With this anti-abortion legislation, it looks like they are making positive steps
WV is mountainous and sparsely populated. Everything will be more difficult under those circumstances. But as we've seen college degrees are vastly overrated. And no, birth isn't forced. People made the decision to have sex.Standard excuse. Forced birth doesn't help your healthcare or education standards.
Literally forced else they wouldn't be banning it. Meanwhile education, healthcare, the economy, and infrastructure are in the absolute shitter. Good Choice for New Gideon there bucko.WV is mountainous and sparsely populated. Everything will be more difficult under those circumstances. But as we've seen college degrees are vastly overrated. Leftwingers don't understand there is so much joy in large families. I came from one, and I had one.
And yet, lowly WV is light years ahead of the blue states in terms of morality as determined by this legislation. Much the way lowly Africa leads the world in Christian morality".Literally forced else they wouldn't be banning it. Meanwhile education, healthcare, the economy, and infrastructure are in the absolute shitter. Good Choice for New Gideon there bucko.
Terrible healthcare, education, infrastructure, way to lead in morality there. FOrced birth then no healthcare. How moral of you!And yet, lowly WV is light years ahead of the blue states in terms of morality as determined by this legislation. Much the way lowly Africa leads the world in Christian morality".
"....and a child shall lead them"
A lot of people from Maryland are retiring to WV. No estate tax, low property taxes, cheap property, beautiful views, lots of freedom.
Your obvious disdain for poor people are reflective of the left’s attitude towards them. It’s one of the big reasons WV went Republican.Terrible healthcare, education, infrastructure, way to lead in morality there. FOrced birth then no healthcare. How moral of you!
Already happened.Texas and jurisdictions in Texas have already made that a crime to aid a woman seeking an abortion in another state.
This is NY's argument.
Incorrect comparison. Thats not directly going after them in another state.
Methusaleh chimes in with his hatred of children once again. We need not to be encouraging people to have kids. Bottom line.
My kids have three teenagers and they seem to be doing great. Maybe they just have better parents than you think! One must make a big ton of money to have a child in todays america.
The opposite. I want them to be better. You want them to continue to be MAGA paradise.Your obvious disdain for poor people are reflective of the left’s attitude towards them. It’s one of the big reasons WV went Republican.
