West Point shuts down clubs centered on race and gender

You liked it fine when it was YOUR cult doing
Ther is and was no opposing cults.

You're showing off your ignorance.

The cult-of-personality surrounding Trump has no opposite. If it does, name the personality

I've never been a hypocrite like you. I've never been into cancelling

Not everything is black, white, yellow or red. Who taught you that?
.

Do they not have any clubs that are based solely on academic interests and military stuff?

In high school, we didn't have white people's club, black people's club, Asian people's club or Hispanic people's club. We had Pep club, Spanish (language) club, Chess club club, et cetera.

Dump the DEI.

They've let the leftist narrative control them and suddenly it's not working

The clubs disbanded include the Latin Cultural Club, National Society of Black Engineers Club, Society of Women Engineers Club, Asian-Pacific Forum Club, Contemporary Cultural Affairs Seminar Club, Corbin Forum, Japanese Forum Club, Korean-American Relations Seminar, Native American Heritage Forum, Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers, Spectrum, and the Vietnamese-American Cadet Association.

No reason to close any of those.

SoWE is a national organization, and I think NSBE is as well.

This is clearly malicious compliance.

What do you think if they had a club called 'White Cultural Club', 'National Society of White Engineers Club', etc?

I think those would be just to piss people off.

It's not a perfect solution, but letting west point do this just gives them ammo. Those things aren't DEI.

I have nothing against women wanting to congregate together, again, not perfect but we shouldn't go down the retribution path they are trying to pin on us.

but they shut down the ethnic clubs as well, and that is just out of spite.

we can't let them get away with malicious compliance.

Clubs like this aren't DEI, DEI about blame and giving some groups an edge based on some bullshit metrics.

The military falls under the UCMJ ... And it doesn't always dovetail nicely with the Constitution ... Interestingly enough.
Also ... There is new leadership in the Department of Defense ... And they don't take their cues from Congress, nor the Public.

The three primary objectives of the military and its leaders are ... Unit Readiness, Lethality, and Operational Success.
Their job is to be prepared to come to our defense ... The Commanders decide what is best for their soldiers.

If Westpoint Cadets want to join an ethnic club ... They can do it off-base and on their time ...
Which would be rather limited ... But we aren't having a fucking slumber party ...

It's still a University, and all Univsersites have those clubs. They have glee clubs and probably horse-riding clubs as well.

The military doesn't give a rat's ass who gets pissed off ... It doesn't have to.
A soldier learns they will most like being do things that really suck, and that they may not want to.

Command doesn't have to have anything to do with retribution ...
The Commander is in charge and what he wants is pretty much what is required ... Unless your ass wants to go to jail.

It's the fucking Training Academy for our Army Officers ... Not Michigan State ... :auiqs.jpg:

They're not teaching them how to play beer pong ... They're teaching them how lead men into combat ...
And they're not asking your opinion nor permission.

The Cadets can do beer pong and ethnic clubs off base and on their own time.

I've seen them jump out of helicopters at Army Football games, but they are still college students.

I'm one of the people supporting the destruction of DEI. Cultural clubs are not DEI.

We overreach on this and we start to lose some of the people we have gotten on our team. We shouldn't be as stupid as dems, and we shouldn't fall for this obvious malicious compliance trick.

And also, the center aligned text is bush league.

It's not overreach when a Major tells a Cadet they cannot have a club and to shut up and sit the fuck down ... :auiqs.jpg:
I don't think you understand how orders work ... Much less the responsibilities and obligations of Command.

Whoever gave this order probably WANTS these clubs and DEI. Again, malicious compliance.
