Yeah ummm, no, no we're not.
So tired of hearing this condescending bullshit from celebrities, news anchors & politicians.
All of them live a COMPLETELY different lifestyle than the rest of us. They live in their posh upscale homes with movie theaters, tennis courts and swimming pools. Their fridges come complete with cooks and food delivery slaves. Their homes are an oasis unlike most of ours. They can EASILY absorbe the hardships that many will take years to recover from.
Trying to relate to average Joe's based on a dumbass slogan only serves to insulate them from the realities that average Americans face daily.
The corporate commercials that parrot this slogan are just as grating imo.
There are of course a few standouts who actually go above and beyond but by and large they have no idea what life is like outside their bubbles.
