welp, as far as foreign policy goes, not much difference in clinton and trump

Trump doesn't have a foreign policy unless you count what's in his tweets

the dope is in way over his head, probably still can't the Oval Office without Bannon
He is playing a game of letting the others in govt. take action, it's his style of leadership..yet the inherent danger of this style leaves open operations or actions which have not been debated and are knee jerk reactions..

you're basically saying every tribe needs a chief (not a pretend chief out groping some hapless squaw)

You'll get exactly what you deserve.
You'll get exactly what you deserve.

which is why we had Trump and CLinton as candidates...

we lost either way
After I started voting I noticed it during Reagan's second term..The federal govt. has agencies which seem to rule to sytem of our govt..and they so it in an independent fashion..Like mini state operations in the federal govt..Like the Indian nations in the US are a country to themselves in the USA..
It's known as the deep state. I'm sure you have heard of it.

It's easier to lay the blame when it fails on the operative, yet you notice Trumpet will take credit for something that succeeds to feed his ego, which is full of pride..But hopefully he finds the stamina to see a plan from start o finish and puts in his two cents worth..

If Trump is so buddy-buddy with Putin, why would he take out Putin's ally?

It's been around humans for thousands of years..Nothing new..That is why they make issues of flags and abortion a heated stigmatism to keep the masses arguing and busy while the real puppet masters play Machiavellian politics..

Why does Russia always back the bad guys? Is it because they are bad people or is it to gain favor for warm water ports and control of geopolitical affairs?

Russia backs whoever is in their best interests. Good guy or bad guy matters not.

don't fall for this kabuki dance

right now Trump would GLADLY sacrifice millions of Syrians to aid his cover-up

the classified evidence Congress and FBI are inspecting ain't going away

That is a good point!

Seriously, I really, really hope we don't get involved in Syria. But if we do, can we put the whole Putin/Trump nonsense to rest?
Do you really think they would drop it? Trump could grope putins wife, **** his son in the face, kill his grandmother and drop a nuke on his house and they would still claim they butt **** each other.

Yep, it would be proof positive of their undying love.

Sometimes I think Israel would really rather Assad, but too afraid to say so. This is from an Israel site and author, but a bit older in 2011 if I remember. Things may of changed, but a good read. Alawites are rather secular and do not force their religion on others, and in a way they are something like Christians but a bit different. Sunnis hate them and hate the Shia as well.

The Alawites and Israel

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The current uprising in Syria is challenging the regime which has held power in the country since the 1960s. While it is impossible not to feel both sympathy for the protesters and distress at the tactics employed by the government to keep its hold on power, it is important to keep in mind the bigger picture: The fall of the current regime would greatly increase the likelihood that Syria will precipitate a war against Israel. While similar arguments have been made about other recent uprisings in the Middle East, the ethnic composition of Syria and the history of the ruling regime there exacerbate this possibility.

It is generally believed that among the Arab regimes Syria is the most implacable enemy of Israel. This is a misperception. In fact, the Syrian regime is the only one which actually prefers – both practically and ideologically – that there be a Jewish state in the Middle East, both now and in the future.
