I've had a number of interactions with this fellow he seems to be somewhere in the middle and not necessarily either right or left. I share one common aspiration with him however.... I would certainly like to see the country more United than divided.

Who is the black religious guy who spoke at the inauguration? I can't find his name. He spoke right after the Jew and before the Catholic. They didn't flash his name. Man was he great! Great speech. She may have been suggesting that this is a set back for minorities when she said it but she said something like "MLK said we will have set backs along the way but the arc in America is always moving in the right direction..." She said something about "creative solutions"

Republicans are claiming they don't judge people by the color of their skin. They say merit is all they care about. We shall see but ultimately, if they are telling the truth, then there is no need for things like affirmative action.
