I liked DeSantis to a point, but he just wasn't Trump and Trump is who the democrats really fear.

Perhaps .. I'd guess differently though .. his numbers weren't strong in Iowa (although he beat Haley), his numbers are weak in New Hampshire, and Florida primary is in March. His career would have been decimated if he lost the primary in his own state.
