If in fact there are people who think homosexulaity is a crime and try to nudge their way into mainstream GOP politics, the very thought is so absurd that it is just best ignored.

I have belonged to the GOP since like 1978, Cecilie, and have worked every campaign cycle -- from literature drops door to door to writing white papers to walking parades, etc. -- since like 1990.

I have my GOP creds all in order, believe me.

Now perhaps you could answer the question I actually asked, rather than one I didn't ask and don't care about.

Fine, then where are DeMint's denials? The fact is, he did say these things and Cecilie wishes he had not. While that is understandable -- I wish he had not myself -- we aren't going to make change by pretending we have no problems.
