Weight Training

Try having more sex and playing more golf. Will it keep you in shape? No, but who cares, it's sex and golf.

I reckon being the leader of the clique has its advantages. :D

I have a gym in the basement of my home.

And I built a commercial gym for one of my daughters. But millennials call it a "fitness center". :icon_rolleyes:

After all, to millennials, if it has more syllables it must somehow add value? :dunno:

It's a gym.
Gyms of the past have evolved into " fitness centers" because the nature of exeecise has changed from just pumping weights to cardio, yoga, etc etc.

It's real simple to work out at home, which I highly recommend, because who feels like driving to a gym and having to wait on your machine, especially if some lunkhead is hanging around it chatting with his bro's?

Buy an adjustable weight bench on eBay, around $70. Then buy at least two different pairs of dumbbells. They usually cost around a dollar a pound. You are now ready to get in shape at home.

One warning: You might try an exercise that your weights are too heavy for and you only have two weight ranges. For those exercises I will go to the gym (or buy the right weight range dumbbells.) <or> don't do them, first rule of weight training, don't hurt yourself.
I go to the gym early so as to avoid cell phone jockeys who spend most of their time texting, trolling FB etc. etc. I don't care what they do as long as they get the hell out of my way when on their phone.

My phone is locked in a locker.

I started training more or less seriously fifty years ago. While one would never know it to look at me, I've learned quite a bit.
  1. Your body type is an important starting point; it limits how beautiful you can make your body.
  2. You cannot lose weight by exercise. Anyone who tells you that you can is a liar. And that includes running, walking, weight lifting, swimming, climbing stairs, riding a bicycle, or having vigorous sexually intercourse. If you want to see the proof of it, consider that ONE POUND is more or less equal to 3,500 calories. To lose ONE POUND by, say, running, assuming you weigh about 150 pounds, you would have to run thirty-five miles without increasing your intake at all. Ain't happening.
  3. Resistance exercise should be done within a system that is created by someone who knows what the hell s/he is talking about it. And any single exercise (running, biking, walking, swimming, etc.), is insufficient.
  4. Flexibility is as important as muscle development. Stretching must be a part of any fitness program.
  5. There are a lot of different weight-loss diets that can be successful; you should pick the one that works for you. LOSING WEIGHT is more important than physical exercise, when it comes to being healthy. But do both if you can.

Or she’s really a guy.
She’s clearly taking more testosterone than actual woman “trans-ing” into a man

By that definition she’s literally more of a man than actual trans-men

I was a Mason for thirty five years and at 63 still have that muscle tone....
