The Direct TV satellite company fought back when the Weather Channel demanded more money and now it's a blackout where the Weather Channel used to be. Direct TV offers a generic weather channel instead. The Weather Channel people fully understood that Direct TV would have to pass the rate increase to customers but it didn't matter. If the increasingly glitzy Weather Channel needs more money they could consider keeping Jim Cantore home instead of sending him all over the Country to stand in the rain and tell us it's raining. Maybe they should consider getting rid of Al Roker and concentrate on the weather instead of social issues and news according to left wing MSNBC.
