The report by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office is already fueling Democratic accusations that the legislation is a giveaway to the rich.

I do not believe this comes as a surprise to thinking people, though the trump folks will poo-hoo it and claim the CBO is biased against them.

But I do not know what other possible outcomes could result from cutting food and medical aid while giving tax breaks to folks who are already wealthy.

If this passes we will have more folks who voted for the "leopards eating faces party" shocked that their face got eaten.

Nothing new then.

And back to the usual class warfare.

Raising the standard deduction helps lower income people.

90% of Taxpayer will get a tax cut. The people who pay the most tax get more back. Even a Dim can understand this. More bullshit and lies.

The intellectually dishonest seem incapable of understanding that 1% of a million dollars is $10,000.

5% of $100,000 is $5,000

10% of $10,000 is $1,000

20% of $1,000 is $200

Even though they receive a much larger percentage of tax relief, those paying smaller amounts in taxes will see fewer total dollars in their bank accounts than those paying huge amounts in taxes, but that is not benefitting only the rich.

The guy getting the 1% cut still pays $990,000 in taxes.
The guy getting 5% still pays $95,000 in taxes
The guy getting 10% still pays $9,000 in taxes
The guy getting 20% still pays $800 in taxes

But the benefit to the less wealthy will mean far more to them than what will be felt by the wealthy.

And it is pretty much the wealthy who make it possible for the less wealthy to have incomes. And having more disposable income allows the wealthy to expand their businesses, hire more people, give better salaries and benefits. I would guess none of us have ever been given a good job by a poor man.

They think that means that tax reform benefits only the rich?
