Wealth Tax: Yeah! Why do Warren Buffett and Bill gates need so much money in their Trust?

Under capitalism the vast majority of participants have a choice between selling their labor or starving. Like feudalism and slavery, capitalism divided society into a pair of very unequal cohorts: a small minority who control what to produce, where to produce it, and, most importantly, how to distribute any surplus.

There is an alternative.

You don't have the right to tell anyone how, where, or what to do with their investments. I've never heard it explained better than this....................................

Government is socialism. We have a de facto duopoly of a public and private sector. The public sector is the socialist part and the private sector is the capitalist part. Equal protection of the laws for unemployment compensation in our at-will employment States can solve simple poverty in a market friendly manner. Equality is all we need.

“The law, in its majestic equality, forbids rich and poor alike to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal their bread.”

― Anatole France

It's called a definition. All words have one.

All you prove is that you also don't understand the simple definition. To Regulate Commerce means Government controls our economic system. Government is still socialism not free-market Capitalism.

In daniel's dictionary, under the entry for "government", it says - "See: socialism".

But in his dictionary, that's the entry for every definition.

You just don't add words to definitions if you don't like them

And government isn't socialism unless it owns the means of production. Our government does not own the means of production nor does it own the means of distribution therefore not socialist

I prefer encyclopedic definitions since they are more general and more comprehensive as a result.

Are owners that allow employees profit sharing and part ownership capitalists
I think the problem stems from dividing society into owners and employees. Richard Wolff publishes regularly on this subject, and he offers Mondragon corporation as an example of a worker-self-directed enterprise:

Are workers’ cooperatives
the alternative to capitalism? | International Socialist Review

"Mondragón was founded in 1956 and originally made paraffin heaters with a handful of workers, but over half a century later, it has developed into an economic giant.

"Today it is the seventh biggest Spanish company, employing over 80,000 people in financial, industrial, retail, and knowledge divisions, with over $19 billion of sales in 2012 and eighty-six subsidiaries in seventeen countries.

"According to Wolff, 'In each enterprise, the co-op members . . . collectively own and direct the enterprise. Through an annual general assembly the workers choose and employ a managing director and retain the power to make all the basic decisions of the enterprise.'"
