We should be living in an America that has no teen pregnancy!

Stepping up and supporting your grand-kids is not a bad thing.

The kid's granddad is a hero, in my book. I mean, surely your not saying that he could control his kid's pecker?
So he's just stepping up...just like a man should~
Not him - her father.
Where the hell has he been? Or was he a part of what messed her up?
My daughter in the 8th grade was all into slumber parties, talking about boys with her friends etc. Dance group, school functions - all that stuff. She wasn't allowed within 10 miles of a boy alone. There was never going to be that opportunity for some boy to have her. That is what a father does.
There is a saying, and I knows this to be true - "when you have a boy, you have to worry about one dick - when you have a girl - you have to worry about every dick in town".
This is what dads do. As well as preach to them about sex and pregnancy etc.
This girl is PROUD of what she did. You can see it. She is having a great time with this.
That shouldn't be. If my daughter would have got pregnant at 14, or 15 or 20 - she would have been horrified at the thought of disappointing me. She obviously doesn't have that problem.
Why?

The father is only a couple of years away from going into the trades where he will be able to provide for 'his share' of the baby. If they eventually marry it might all work out.

A beautiful girl like that was probably not denied anything in her young life. What's left for her to have?

I have always thought this was one of the most embarrassing things about America.

It is horrifying that in America there are pretty girls like Brooke Morton who get pregnant by ugly men at the age of 14.
If they were good looking men, with money, it would be a different story.

14 and pregnant: Brooke Morton and other teen moms explode on TikTok

America should have been working toward a future where all pretty girls are ambitious and successful.

Perhaps we should use "Genetic Engineering".

And btw pretty women with college educations and careers who believe in science are more attractive.

America is an embarrassment!

What would you think of the government starting a program to make the children of teen parents to want to be more ambitious and successful?

Where do I go to find pretty women who want college and careers?

Canada? Europe? Japan?

Not as embarrassing late 30-40 somethings falling back on drugs, and frozen eggs trying to do what they should have done in their prime.

Nah - EagleEye is right about this - that kid is a ride-a-long. There isn't a 14 year old hetero boy in the world that would turn her down sexually, he is only important to her at the moment.

Back in the day a teen girl was ostracized when she became pregnant. Today it's condoned and even celebrated. You can't blame the girls.

A college campus?

Could be the other way then.
I refuse to think that a girl this smart and clear thinking - wanting to get pregnant is natural. There is something unnatural here. This girl is messed up. Someone messed her up, or someone wasn't paying enough attention to her to notice it. A balanced, smart 14 year old does not want a baby.
Hormones?

In 2025 there is no good excuse for teen pregnancy. Girls are taught everything they need to know in junior high.

In her National Review article “When IVF Met MAHA,” (July 2025), Leah Libresco Sargeant questions President Trump’s rallying cry for free IVF (In Vitro Fertilization).

She argues, “The harder it is to marry and have children early in life, the more likely it is that couples will struggle to conceive later. A humane culture is ordered to the physical realities of women’s bodies. It does not view the shifting of births to later in life as neutral.”

If humans took measures to prevent whales or giraffes from getting pregnant when their bodies were ready, that would be considered madness and an offense against the natural world. But we think it’s ok to ignore Mother Nature and refuse to support human mothers who follow the rule of nature, which is to have children while still a teenager.

We need better birth control education. Seriously.

The thing about teen girls is they think having a baby would be so cool.

"Babies are so cute! I must have one!"

They have no idea being that young and having a baby will grind their lives to a shrieking halt. And good luck getting the father to do his duty.

So the grandparents end up taking care of everything.

Even the airheads in the video are living with the boy's parents. How the hell does anyone think jamming up your parents is glamorous?!?

Children having children doesn't work.

That might work in a more primitive society.
