All from 50 years ago when gays were able to infiltrate the priesthood. Since 2005, gays have been banned from entering the seminaries. Unfortunately the godless public schools haven't made such regulations, and as a result sexual molestation of students by teachers is escalating. You should be concerned about that.

Always follow the money (or the motive). As a journalist at the time, we knew full well that there was a worse problem in public schools and other organizations (including all other clergies) than there was in the Catholic Church. Try getting advertising money by blasting public schools. Next, the Catholic Church was knows to have money where public schools are paid for by tax payers. How many taxpayers would have been eager to pay billions in settlements for what was going on in public schools. An attempt to take down a Church is one thing, but not going after public schools or anything to do with government.

Next, during this scandal, do you know what else was happening in public schools--two of which I witnessed directly: Students who did not like a teacher arranged to be in a classroom alone with him (a friend was waiting outside) so they could claim the teacher was abusive toward her. The District, in both cases, decided they didn't want the notoriety, persuaded/paid one teacher to retire early. I had overheard the plot against the second teacher, and also recognized students who had also overheard. We went to the administration, and with the threat to be expelled or withdraw the allegation, the girls confessed, were transferred to another school, with a heads up attached to their school records.

Keep in mind: So many good, even excellent priests continued to work in the environment that was created by this. In other words, ninety-seven percent of priests were (by some) painted by the same brush as the two-to-three percent who were guilty.

No evidence you would accept that Trump grabbed women by the ***** other than he bragged about it, a jury found him liable for it, 30 women claimed he did it to them.
