We Need Government Healthcare Like Canada!

I worked with a guy who had to move to America because his pain level was a 7 and couldn’t be seen for months.

I much prefer the way many Americans wait for healthcare because they can't afford it.

Try being an American in a urban city you wait in line for months behind foreigners that can’t speak English

So you just rather pay high taxes, have a VA version of healthcare and still die waiting...

Good to know...

Did you know Democrats could have avoided all this had they passed the Nixon/Kennedy plan?

Thanks for the lie, appreciate it. Do you get your primary care from the ER or something?
Whittier Street health clinic is a newly built state of the art beautiful clinic in Boston and the only people that can speak English are the doctors this is an historic African-American neighborhood and they can barely get service

Sure I'll pay higher taxes, untie my healthcare from my employer, allow me to pick my healthcare providers rather than the limited options of my health insurance, not pay premiums, not worry about preexisting conditions, no need for separate dental and vision care, drugs included at no additional cost.

It's not a VA version of healthcare btw.

There are issues for example what to do with the approximately 2 million people who would lose their jobs and the overall cost. It might be a little higher but if that gets everyone healthcare then the cost is probably worth it.

This by no means is a complete argument for or against medicare4all but should at least spark conversation.

So you can wait 3 weeks after your general practitioner refers you to a specialist and 39 weeks for orthopedic surgery.

And Bloomberg says if you’re old, you can just die.

While Americans pine for 'Medicare for all,' Canadians look for US-style private insurance
Why can't we have both? Private insurance for those who want/can afford it?
Ask Canada and Democrats.

Answer:
It’s about control. Who gets to live, who gets to die.

I think this is a good question. I think if there was a medicare for those who wanted it plan then most employers would probably drop health insurance and then what? You're almost at medicare for all.

Bloomberg says old people should just die.

End of conversation.

Sure he does.

There is one and only one way to fix this mess. That is to get the government to hell out of healthcare altogether them make it illegal to peddle healthcare insurance fraud. This is because both are the cause of healthcare spiraling out of control. Eliminate all of that crazy shit and natural economic laws would soon force the cost of healthcare down to earth where most can afford healthcare and charity can afford to take care of the rest. That's the way it once was and it worked and it worked well.
The only reason the train was derailed was because the government was doing shit they had no damn business doing by enacting wage and price controls they had no constitutional authority to do in the first place.

More big government isn't ever going to fix what big government broke in the first place. This is called common or walking around horse sense.

A Strategic Counsel survey found 91% of Canadians prefer their healthcare system instead of a U.S. style system. A 2009 Harris-Decima poll found 82% of Canadians preferred their healthcare system to the one in the United States.

Healthcare in Canada - Wikipedia

The notion that health care in Canada is free or paid by taxes might also be responsible for lulling us into a deeper state of complacency. But this too is a false comfort. The average Canadian household spends $2000 on health care costs and $4000 on private insurance premiums. 65% of Canadians have some form of private health insurance most often provided through their employers.

How much are you paying into your company’s health care plan? The answer is not always obvious. Just because your employer offers a plan, doesn't mean it's a good one.

Because they have to force those who can afford private insurance to fund their pie-in-the-sky programs.
