Create 2 areas in states that happen to have space. Both are given equal resources. One area is governed by leftist Democrat morality, policy, and desired societal norms, the other is governed by the same on the right Conservative side.

I would love to watch the outcome (as a Conservative, I know which would completely fail)

How about we expell and exsponge all the Leftists in this country for 20 years and see how we do.

The Leftists have shown us what they can do........now it's our turn.

Should the gdp of red and blue states be compared to give an indication of current information?

You think you know what exactly.

Can you answer where 70% of the GDP is produced in this country.

We already have all of the experiment we need. Just witness the difference in how blue states are run compared to red states.
Yeah, Oklahoma is so well run.

  • Thanks

Mississippi is so well run.

West Virginia is so well run.

As conservative you don't know anything about how that would turn out. You're expressing hopes and desires about something you know nothing about.

We do that every four to eight years, when the great unwashed forget how bad Republicans are at governing, and put them into office, only to watch them run the country into the ground.

We are amazingly doing it again, right now.

No we don't. We have national cultural influences that spread across right and left states.

I'm talking about highly quarantined areas where Conservatives and Leftists can operate their societies based on their clear proclaimed principles.

For example:

Conservative Society
  • Tax Cuts, promoting self-determinism and personal growth, and shaming people who envy
  • Minimal abortion or making it illegal and making a heavy stigma on people who get them.
  • Maintaining gun laws and pushing a neutral/positive stigma onto them as protection
  • Identifying people who are obese as being in bad shape and needing change/help.
  • 2 sexes, men are men and women are women
  • Jobs, schooling, etc. all based on merit.
  • Education based on basic math, traditional literature, western philosophy, Judeo-Christian values
  • Celebrated women are those that are chaste, married, have children, supportive, cooperative as the most successful
  • Vetting all immigration and demanding they participate in our society, with heavy borders to keep out illegals

Leftist Society
  • High taxes, focusing on the evil greed and the wealthy
  • Make abortion abundant, minimize them to nothing more than getting a hang nail removed, or celebrate them.
  • Make guns illegal or severely remove them from society
  • Protect obese people and celebrate them as fine just the way they are
  • Trans ideology
  • Jobs, schooling etc involving DEI quotas for race, sex, trans identification, sexual orientation, etc.
  • Education based on social issues, CRT, 1619 project, anti-religion, demonizing America and the west.
  • Celebrated women are those that are highly sexual, masculine, alpha, single/divorced, combative.
  • Open borders or no walls and little desire to enforce a border because it's immoral to keep people out.

I could go on.

The areas need to be able to enforce their values onto the public absolutely. You can shame people who need to be shamed. Both sides can use this, along with whatever propaganda needed to push their values.. and we'll see what happens.

But we know what would happen. The leftist society would turn into a drug-infested, high crime, wondering/depressed impoverished 3rd world wasteland, and the Conservative area would improve, be highly functional, charitable, efficient, low in crime, and motivated/stable populace.

Um, yeah, you'd go broke pretty quickly. The problem is supply side never works, and by cutting taxes, you made more government MORE attractive. You get all these goodies and you don't have to pay for them!!!

Good idea. Let's bring back stoning!!!
Maintaining gun laws and pushing a neutral/positive stigma onto them as protection
A gun in the home is 43 times more likely to kill a household member than a bad guy.

Tell that to the USA

insane strawman. Why did you even try?

Says who

Tell that to the USA

We have. We've done the Supply Side nonsense since Reagan, we've seen 36 Trillion in new debt and the economy has gotten much worse since then.

insane strawman. Why did you even try?

Why is it insane? You want to shame women for having abortions or sex outside of marriage. Let's get truly biblical about it.

Look at Americas economy numbers and get back to me, and don’t make me laugh as you’re a leftist talking about concerns of the debt. That’s cute.

Because influence is not the same as murder. We know marriage and family is good for women.. let’s celebrate that, at least in the conservative area. You’re free to continue to encourage them to be sexualized, promiscuous, masculine, bitter, aggressive individuals that men don’t want

This is absolutely true!

Notice how California's Extreme Greens shot down some well planned and financed proposals for large scale desalination that could have given the firefighters the water that they needed to put out the fires there!

COSTA MESA, Calif., May 12 (Reuters) - California regulators on Thursday rejected a $1.4 billion desalination plant on environmental grounds, dealing a setback to Governor Gavin Newsom, who had supported the project as a partial solution for the state's sustained drought.

The California Coastal Commission voted 11-0 to reject the proposal by Poseidon Water, controlled by the infrastructure arm of Canada's Brookfield Asset Management (BAMa.TO), opens new tab, to build the plant on a low-lying coastal site at Huntington Beach, near the town of Costa Mesa, about 30 miles (50 km) south of Los Angeles.

Well, two points:
  1. Just because the state needs the water doesn't mean this plant would have been a good solution to it. Desalination is a last-resort solution which has the endemic problem of increasing salinity in the water where you get it. No matter what, unless you have strong currents and turbulence naturally all of the time, the net loss of water compared to the salt returned results in an overall general alkalination of the region adversely affecting all life there.
  2. The other point is why do firefighters need desalinated drinking water? Isn't sea water wet too? We are talking two different standards here. Far better to put the burning neighborhood or whatever out than to let it all burn just because you don't want a little saltwater on your petunias.
Every solution is a trade off of some kind. Realistically, a state like California should have a back up emergency reserve system in place where if needed, they can cut into a back up of either directly sourcing water from the ocean or from some large storage tank kept filled with slowly-recycled sea water ready for use circulated just enough to keep it from getting stagnant, and cut this supply into the fire hydrant supply system which should be able to be isolated or kept isolated from the general drinking supply.

Fighting fires should never impact the general public water supply in any adequate, well-thought out system, ESPECIALLY in one so pricey and budget-overrun as in California, where consumers certainly get the shaft.
