Don't you ever get anything right Aris?
The Roman salute was adopted by the Italian Fascists in the 1920's and the German Nazis in the 1930's.
The USA only dropped it in 1942.
So, you have the war as starting in the 1920's eh, Aris?

"Price tag" is a euphemism for hate attacks by Jewish extremists.
Police said that "Death to Arabs" was found written on a house in the Old City in east Jerusalem, and swastikas were scrawled on the wall of a west Jerusalem apartment.
The Roman Catholic church has demanded Israeli action after Hebrew graffiti reading "Death to Arabs and Christians and to everyone who hates Israel" was daubed on its Notre Dame complex in Jerusalem on Monday.

The Feast of Saint George, a pretty important holiday for Palestinian Christians, recently ended, but it didnÂ’t end well for those celebrating at the festivalÂ’s focal point, the Monastery of Saint George near Bethlehem.
Saint GeorgeÂ’s Monastery is located in the village of al-Khadar, which is the name used for Saint George in Arab culture. Every year, Palestinian Christians, and even some Muslims, gather at the monastery, as well as at other locations throughout the region, to commemorate GeorgeÂ’s martyrdom and dedication to his faith.
During this yearÂ’s festival, which occurred on May 6, the Christians gathered at Saint GeorgeÂ’s were beset by Muslim provocateurs and assailants.

This is what happens when Politics and Religion mix...The Christians too went into this process of killing non-believers and then each other...We have developed socially and politically. I'm afraid the ME gods from time immemorial were aggressive and exclusive will slow political development for a very long time....poor bon home Pbel forecasts constant warfare for three hundred years and perhaps the Armageddon of the Torah and Koran...
Americans need to get out of this quagmire militarily and politically, we are now oil independent. Let the Europeans pay the market price without our military umbrella.
Its killing Americans literally and financially.

Just as soon as Eretz Yisrael is achieved, and the Palestinians have been relocated.
Won't be long now.

Do you really think that even the U.S. will support the ethnic cleansing of millions of people? You may think so, but real Americans, not people like you more loyal to Israel than the U.S., will not support it. Guaranteed.

It will be portrayed as a Final Settlement of Accounts between Israel and Palestine.
It will be portrayed as baseball's "Sucker's Walk" after losing the bat-toss.
It will be portrayed as mere Population Transfer.
The mixed-bag melange of ethnicities will not be cleansed.
The mixed-bag melange of ethnicities will merely be relocated.
Given relocation assistance, stake-money to start a new life, and, perhaps, a bit of wergeld as final compensation for their troubles.
It will be portrayed as the only remaining Road to Peace.
If you remove one of the Combatants, the War fizzles-out.
One of the Combatants will be removed, because they have repeatedly demonstrated that they will accept nothing less than complete control of the region formerly known as Old (pre-1948) Palestine, and because there is not enough left of Rump Palestine to make a viable country out of.
They will not be slaughtered or cleansed.
They will be relocated - moved out of the way, and paid-off, so that the rest of the world can get on with far more important business.
We will not have a direct hand.
Behind the scenes, however, we may very well pump support and funding to the Israelis, in pursuit of this lofty goal.
BTW...
My first loyalty is the the United States of America; her People, her Constitution, and her long-term best interests.
My interest in Israeli is merely that of someone wishing to help an ally who has a centuries -long history of getting their asses kicked and who have now re-discovered their identify and courage as a people and who are largely helping themselves, in order to resurrect their old homeland.
If Israel's interests and those of the United States ever substantively and overwhelmingly differ, I will side with the United States rather than Israel.
It's just that most folks do not perceive that those interests have entered upon divergent pathways.

It will be portrayed here in the United States as the only remaining Road to Peace, after 60+ years of trying, and the insane intransigence of the Palestinian side.
And it will accepted here in the United States as just that, when the time comes.
Remember that you heard that here first.
Fortunately, the idea that it will (by then) be the only remaining Road to Peace will have the added benefit of being the truth, when it unfolds.
Common sense, really.
One side has won.
One side has lost.
The losing side refuses to surrender.
The thing drags on for 66 years and causes a wide array of grief out and about in the wider world, in considerable disproportion to its size or mass or volume or general importance and value.

I am routinely glad to see Muslim Palestinians pushed off their remaining lands, because the sooner the job is done, the sooner they're relocated elsewhere, and the sooner this whole thing begins to diffuse into an ethereal memory. This is the painful precursor to something better for both Palestinian Muslims and Israeli Jews which is likely to materialize from all of this in the future....But, you seem to be happy that people you don't know were expelled from their land and homes just because they were Christians and Muslims instead of Jews. That's what I will never understand.

It is the purest logic, and the only way remaining to cut the Gordian Knot.
There is no hate in this, other than hate of continued, pointless conflict.
I think Islam is a gigantic fraud and a Neanderthal system, and I don't like the unfounded arrogance and hate-mongering and bigotry and hypocrisy of many of its adherents, and I see it as the single largest threat to the General Peace of the next century or two, and I sometimes hate-back, those who hate us, but, there is no general hatred embedded in my own positions.

Because of my own historical Christian affiliations (personal and familial and ancestral) I am routinely saddened to see when Christian Palestinians foolishly side with Palestinian Muslims and damage their prospects for sustaining a continued long-term presence in the Holy Land, but I am consoled that they will be better-treated at the end of the day than their Muslim counterparts and - beyond the simplistic mindset of needing to break a few eggs to make omelettes - I know that those of them who already reside within existing Israeli borders and who are citizens of Israel can actually live very happy and empowered lives in many instances.
But much of that is personal opinion and perspective, and does not advance the general discussion.
