And of course they won’t tell you what if any impact $3Trillion a year buys you. while Americans sleep in the streets.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said on Saturday that the global transition to a low-carbon economy requires $3 trillion in new capital each year through 2050, far above current annual financing, but that filling the gap is the biggest economic opportunity of the 21st century.
Yellen said in Belem, Brazil's Amazon gateway city, that reaching net-zero emissions goals remained a top priority for the Biden-Harris administration and this would require leadership far beyond U.S. borders.

"Neglecting to address climate change and the loss of nature and biodiversity is not just bad environmental policy. It is bad economic policy," Yellen said in a speech after attending a G20 finance leaders meeting on Thursday and Friday in Rio de Janeiro.

She's correct.

Please send me $3 trillion, I will reduce world carbon.

Don’t be ridiculous….it’s a global cost. I see you lied and omitted that from her dissertation.

Did you even read your own reference ? It’s a global investment..,dah.

Yes, global cost, the bill is given to the USA

Very smart of you to point out the usa is going to pay the bill
As long as we're reconnecting w/ the real world here, let's also understand that 50% of Americans pay no taxes. This burden will fall on my back & I'm taking issue w/ this.

Ha ha.
50% ? You can’t be serious. Tell me one working stiff who pays no taxes other than billionaires…go ahead list them by occupation, living condition, location or salary…..we’re waiting for your rebuttal…..still waiting.

Glad to hear that I've brought some laughter into your life.

If you're interested, some additional info might be nice too --this source says that the top 50% paid 97.7% of the "Share of Total Taxes Paid" and that the bottom 50% paid 2.3%

You said taxes……everyone pays PAYROLL TAXES to the Fed 15% of their wages., sales, property tax, state income tax in EVERY STATE that has it. You lied about 50% of the people pay no taxes.

Not only that, but all the surplus of payroll tax goes into general fund. The rich pay no payroll taxes above 168,000.
So the rich pay 15% less than the bottom 50% above 168,000. Your figures ONLY APPLY TO FEDERAL INCOME TAX
You lied. The bottom pay all other taxes and the pay into general fund through their payroll tax the rich don’t have to fund.
Tax illiterate…..the bottom 50% only have 2,5 % of wealth foolish. They can’t afford to pay federal income tax on top of payroll and all the other taxes EVERYONE HAS TO PAY……YOU LIED.

The bottom 50% pay no net federal incomes taxes.
Justify that you moron.

The payroll tax that they get more out of than they pay in. Awesome!

the rich don’t have to fund.

Except for the 15.3% up to $168,600 and the 2.9% on all income over that.

Do you understand how taxes work? Because you seem to be saying payroll taxes are somehow different than federal income taxes. Is that what you think?
