From killing Yaks in Tibet to unstoppable fires outside your door.

Firefighters work 16 hours to put out fires in Tesla Model S

The cars are suffering the same problem cell phones have with substandard lithium being used. The batteries internal circuits breakdown and short out and there is literally nothing you can do to stop the fire while water makes it worse. Even foam will not confine a lithium fire.

In order to stop the cascade fire failure you must break apart the batteries. Real hard to do when they are blowing up and burning...

Lots of fun to be sure...

Fire fighters will surround and drown these cars. If you get hit with the full 130 volts DC @ 700 amps, it can kill you. About the same effect as putting keys into a 120VAC outlet.. but melts the item rather than blow it apart.. (An Arc Welder uses 24-28VDC at high amperage)
