Some are upset about demolition at the White House, especially after promises that the existing building wouldn't be touched. Now there are fears that cutting corners is posing a danger for everybody working in the Whitehouse.

The White House was built when asbestos was commonly use in construction. There is little or no chance that it will not be encountered and require extensive abatement procedures. There is no record of any abatement procedures being done. There isn't even a record of inspection to determine if asbestos is present.

Several agencies have attempted to discuss the potential hazard with the White House, but received no response. It's very likely that everyone in the White House is being exposed to friable asbestos all because trump wants to cut corners.

Try again. There is no construction being done on the residence. The East Wing has been demolished. Next.

The demolition is done. Over. Finished. Kaput.

Asbestos neurosis is endemic in the U.S. The contractors who do abatement must have as much power as Israel, because they have dramatically injected themselves into thousands and thousands of projects, costing private concerns and government agencies mountains of money, to abate what is probably only minimally harmful. In fact, if you leave it the **** alone, it is entirely harmless, but you would never know that to see municipal and school renovations that increase in cost by A THIRD OR MORE, just to deal with this sort-of problem.

Of course you defend trump ignoring environmental rules and exposing everyone in the White House to asbestos. You cult members are amazing
Try again. BTW, licensed contractors follow asbestos mitigation regulations in projects such as this. Educate yourself so you don't exhibit your ignorance for the world to see.

The East Wing demolition is part of the White House complex, and while it is being rebuilt nearby, it is not directly touching the main residence. The exact distance is not specified, but the project is designed to respect the existing structure. NBC News BBC

Get a ******* life!

The link discusses the likelihood of a building built at that time having an asbestos problem. Almost 100% likely. There is no indication that they even inspected it for asbestos.
Again. Likelihood. But no definitive finding that there was asbestos.

How many of the plans, proposals, inspections or regulations have you seen or have knowledge of? Please link to those so we can all be as informed as you CLAIM to be. Be sure to be specific. If, as I suspect, you have none of the requested information, just STFU, you've made a big enough fool of yourself.

Perhaps not if the president told them not to worry about it. If they followed standard procedures, there would be public documentation showing results of initial inspection as well as what abatement procedures were followed. None of that is available.

Again, no indication that a normally required inspection was even done.
Is that your excuse for no indication asbestos was found?

This is the common finding among democrats. Everyone KNOWS!

No indication that they didn't

Standard procedure in DC, as well as most of the country is to file a publicly accessible inspection to determine if and how bad the asbestos hazard is. No indication that any inspection was done.
