My daughter says the same thing - but you can't just copy-n-paste what it spits out. You have to rewrite it in your own style and personalize it because teachers run your stuff through AI to check for that. In that respect it seems little different than Cliff Notes.I've heard personal testimony from students, including ivy leaguers, today that confirms that most of them are using AI to do their school work.
It's really crazy.
I don't think I have a problem with this in any case. AI is here and it's not going away. I already use it to help me write software and emails. Our legal dept uses it to help write contracts. AI is a tool and students should learn how to best use it like any other tool.
