Yes but that's never going to happen . Zero is the correct result for the poor..the 1% increased their wealth by over 800 billion last year. Even 10% of that would be 80 billion. That works right up to the point where you can't afford the interest payments on the debt you're accumulating. Case in point...Chicago! This week Middle Class people got their property tax bill in the mail. For many of them it's double what it was last year. That's an issue of a city government not living within it's means, now teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. That's EXACTLY where NYC is now headed under the idiot a bunch of naive New Yorker's elected to be their Mayor!

Why are these thing's being allowed to operate inside the United State's of America ???

There are also legal monopolies like the U.S. Postal Service and many sports organizations like the National Football League. ......... ..... The loss of the Consumer Protection Agency and countless regulations that were put in place after the Great Recession to safeguard the economy from unscrupulous and risky endeavors corporations take that end up hurting us all. trump did that. There's a decent chance that there will be a drain of businesses to some degree, and I've definitely seen some anecdotal evidence that points to that. The larger firms may decide to see if he's re-elected, and/or if this is the long term direction of the city. If it is, yeah, we'd see movement to states that are more tax/regulation-light.

Maybe Mamdani has a plan to somehow replace the lost tax base, but I sure as hell don't know what that would be.

Elections have consequences. We're reminded of that pretty much every day now.

The plan will be the only thing democrats know. Raise taxes.
