Why not make this the punishment for those who employ them?

Because for one, fake ID"s make it nearly impossible for an employer to determine who is legal and who is not. Two, e-verify is very flawed and doesn't guarantee anything. Three, illegals can sue companies for not hiring them if they get in front of one of your Communist judges. Four, why blame employers instead of the people who know they are breaking our laws by sneaking in? I know you leftists are against Americans but that's no reason to side with who started the problem in the first place.
