If Patton said that i could just have seen how that worked out, US troops fighting alongside the Waffen SS destroying Russian Towns and supplying Guards for Auschwitz and other death camps.

1. This would've likely stopped or at least stemmed the worldwide spread of Communism
2. Averted a 45 year Cold War between the US and the USSR
3. Stopped Stalin's continued human rights violations
4. Ensured US worldwide Supremacy

Patton was not heard or quoted in any history bookds as having said that. It is true he despised the communists and suggested that we use our European troops to fight on and take Moscow but in fact he is never known to have advocated nuking anyone.

I admire patton a great as well and not just for his brilliant service but for his staunch oppositionto communism. However if you are going to invoke him do not attribute things to him which he never said.

BTW in the end we did it right and defeated the soviets without resorting to nuclear war.

Patton ´s point was the communism is way more dangerous than National - Socialism, and Moscow Bolshevik empire has away been way more dangerous than Hitler´s Germany. And he was 100% correct . Even today communism kills millions
