Mein Kampf, Review for 2002

Sniffing around the most explosive book ever published
First, a tip for reading it in public. In the event you're approached with a query from a combative onlooker, simply explain that you are taking a class about anti-Semitism at the local synagogue, and it's on the list of assigned reading. "It's important to read this book to help us understand evil," you might say. "We may never understand evil, but we cannot look the other way." For added effect, know the name of the synagogue.
Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf, composed while Hitler was imprisoned for treason in 1924, is typeset dynamite. Not so much for how it's received -- with hysteria and Jewish attempts to ban it -- but for what it says, and how its message blows the dominant world view of 2002 to smithereens: Race is nature's political party. Join up or die, White man. The people telling you otherwise are not your friend. Time and again, those people are Jews, and those they've succeeded in brainwashing by appealing to their noble instincts.
If you haven't read it yet, do so. It took me about a year into racial consciousness to read it, and I'm glad I did. From those who think Hitler was God to those who might criticize parts of his program, Mein Kampf is an indispensable read for anyone who gives a damn about White people and their future. You can read it online, but I suggest you get yourself a hard-cover dead-tree version. Go through a pro-White retailer, if possible. Tim Berners-Lee's hypertext invention is great for circumvention of Jewish censorship, but I haven't given up on Johannes Gutenberg just yet.
Why do Jews seek to censor Mein Kampf? If Hitler was indeed a madman spewing nonsense, why not make the nonsense available for all to see? Why wouldn't the Simon Wiesenthal Center take it upon itself to put a copy of Mein Kampf in every schoolroom, library and hotel room in the country in order to expose the idiocy of White nationalism and the wrongness of Hitler's observations about the Jews? I leave it to your speculation.
Just how frightened are Jews of Hitler's words? This scared:
BERLIN - German media giant Bertelsmann on Friday pulled Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf from its BOL online bookstore after being accused in Germany of selling hate literature... Distributing unannotated hate literature is illegal in Germany... The Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles had filed a complaint with the German Justice Ministry accusing Barnesandnoble.com, Bertelsmann's US online bookselling partner... of violating German law by selling such books to German consumers online. Because the Internet ignores national boundaries, BOL said it had opted to stop offering the book at all... Because there is no state-stipulated list of banned books in Germany, it said it might use a list from the Wiesenthal Center as a guide to which books to pull from its selection.
If it's illegal where you live, my legal advice is, get it anyway. Any law making illegal to read, write, own or buy a book is null and void, no matter what jurisdiction in time or space you might find yourself. At Amazon.com, it was once accompanied by a stern warning: Cannot be shipped to Germany. Which is really too bad, because every White German ought to sit down tomorrow, start reading, and not stop until finishing. Make that every White person on Earth, from San Francisco to South Africa. OK, class, what are your thoughts about Mr. Hitler's ideas?
My copy came wrapped in an ominous all-black jacket, with the bare words "Mein Kampf" in small red print sitting atop "Adolf Hitler" in small white print. Publisher, Houghton Mifflin. International Standard Book Number # 0-3005-95195-4. Translation, Ralph Manheim. To my knowledge, there is no reason to believe that Manheim's translation is anything but faithful. His footnotes are sometimes snide but often factual. In the translator's note, Manheim calls Hitler a "self-educated modern South German with a gift for oratory," but, in dutiful fashion, derides Hitler's "largely unintelligible flights of Wagnerian terminology" and insists that on matters of state and race, he makes "extraordinary allegations without so much as an attempt to prove them." As I read, I did not find this to be the case, as many of Hitler's "extraordinary allegations" were verifiable observations about human nature and the resulting political machinations.
The back of the jacket is marred with a blurb from greaseload huckster Abraham Foxman, who calls Mein Kampf a "wretched book." I couldn't help but be reminded that "wretched" derives from the Old English wrecca, meaning "exile," which is what should happen to Abraham Foxman, not Mein Kampf. (Note to Jews: Stop using the language of my ancestors to prevent the birth of my descendants.) Jew Foxman writes of "the lesson of vigilance and responsibility, of not closing our eyes to the evil around us." Which is funny, because I was thinking that vigilance and responsibility are the very values needed to preserve the White race. And not closing my eyes to the "evil around us" means opening my eyes to the evils of the Jews and their tools. Then, taking necessary action. There's an even longer introduction by Abe on the inside, but not to worry. With the precise application of pressure from an X-acto blade, you can remove the offending pages and deposit them into the wastebasket. Think of Abe while you do it.
Opening, Reading, Finding Self Jumping Up To Say, "By Jove, That Crazy Nazi Bastard Was Right!"
Briefly, Mein Kampf, which translates as "My Struggle," is divided into two volumes. Volume One is titled "A Reckoning." What's he reckoning with? Reality, for the most part. And the Jews occupying it. It struck me that Hitler struggled with the Jewish issue as a young man, hoping at first they weren't at the bottom of Whites' destruction. Convinced that Jews were distinguished only by religion, and not race, "The fact that they had, as I believed, been persecuted on this account sometimes almost turned my distaste at unfavorable remarks about them into horror." The anti-Semitic comments in the press of the day, Hitler figured, were the products of envy. In an attempt to educate himself, he began reading anti-Semitic pamphlets, only to find himself wavering on the issue. "The whole thing seemed to me so monstrous, the accusations so boundless, that, tormented by the fear of doing injustice, I again became anxious and uncertain." He soon cured himself of the uncertainty. "In short time I was made more thoughtful than ever by my slowly rising insight into the type of activity carried on the Jews in certain fields. Was there any form of filth or profligacy, particularly in cultural life, without at least one Jew involved in it? If you cut even cautiously into such an abscess, you found, like a maggot in a rotting body, often dazzled by the sudden light -- a ****!" It's with some hesitation that 78 years later, I find myself agreeing. Maybe this is why the Simon Wiesenthal Center wants to ban Mein Kampf.
Much ink in Volume One is dropped on what Hitler saw as the betrayal of the German people during World War I. For the non-student of European history, these parts can get draggy. Stuff really heats up in Chapter XI -- Race and Nation. You'll be tempted to jump straight to that one (I did), but in retrospect I recommend you save it as a reward for reading through the slightly-less-captivating stuff. But yes, in Race and Nation, Hitler delivers the goods on racial difference. It's here that he classifies mankind into three groups: Culture founders, culture bearers, and culture destroyers. The Aryan is the culture founder, while the Jew is the culture destroyer. Most everyone else is in between. Oversimplification? Maybe not. Hitler, after all, saw even the White race clearly: "The Aryan is not greatest in his mental qualities as such, but in the extent of his willingness to put all his abilities in the service of the community." Elsewhere in the chapter, I had to chuckle at Hitler's knockdown of the few positive things said about Jews, even by some racially aware Whites. Jewish unity, for instance:
The Jew is only united when a common danger forces him to be or a common booty entices him; if these two grounds are lacking, the qualities of the crassest egoism come into their own, and in the twinkling of an eye the united people turns into a horde of rats, fighting bloodily among themselves... If the Jews were alone in the world, they would stifle in filth and offal; they would try to get ahead of one another in hate-filled struggle and exterminate one another...
The fifteen chapters of Volume Two, titled "The National Socialist Movement," set out in greater detail the philosophy of the "folkish," or race-based, state, and what's needed to achieve it. Here's a hint: Iron will and sheer force are high on the list. Democracy and debate aren't. "All the wisdom on this earth remains without success if force does not enter into its service, guarding and protecting it... the gentle Goddess of Peace can walk only by the side of the God of War," Hitler says. Interwoven are accounts of the rise of the early Nazi party, dating back to the 1920s. Again, your eyes may droop when Hitler goes on about how the latest party headquarters got new phones and bookshelves.
But don't skim, lest you miss good stuff, like the laugh-out-loud racial observations that are as fresh today as the 1920s. Example: "From time to time illustrated papers bring it to the attention of the petty bourgeois that some place or other a Negro has for the first time become a lawyer, teacher, even a pastor, in fact a heroic tenor, or something of the sort. While the idiotic bourgeoisie looks with amazement at such miracles of education, the Jew shrewdly draws from it a new proof for the soundness of this theory about the equality of men that he is trying to funnel into the minds of nations. It doesn't dawn on this depraved bourgeois that this is positively a sin against all reason; that it is criminal lunacy to keep on drilling a born half-ape until people think they have made a lawyer out of him, while millions of members of the highest culture-race must remain in entirely unworthy positions..." Oh, how times haven't changed.
Hitler's Legacy
Adolf Hitler as revealed in Mein Kampf was that rarest of breeds, both in his day and today: a brave, no-apologies racial realist. Hitler knew that race was nature's boundary. He knew that Jews and blacks were outside Aryan bloodlines. And he knew and that the earthly destiny of human beings -- but especially that of Whites -- was bound up in race. More than that, Hitler was an idealist. His ideal was no more complicated than a healthy, vigorous White society with plenty of land upon which to live, work and build our unique culture -- all free from Jewish influence. His unequaled vilification in our world today stems from one simple fact: He stood up for the White race.
On many issues, Hitler was a moderate. He balanced the creative power of the individual with self-sacrifice for the community. Economically, he appears to have eschewed both collectivist economics and extreme libertarianism. With regard to labor-management relations, for instance, he saw both camps as having responsibility to each other, but more importantly, to the national good. As for government itself, Hitler wasn't against it. He just thought it ought to be directed to a good purpose. Hitler sought to formalize and foster, through the trappings of state power, the healthy existence of a race that had already existed for thousands of years.
On the issue of the survival of the White race, Hitler was not a moderate. He was a radical, in the best sense of the word. For Hitler, racial survival wasn't a matter for parlor discussion, it was a divine mission to be fought for with every possible means. Time and again, he hammers home the point that uncertainty about racial survival is itself deadly. Whites who realize what's happening to them are no different from the sleepwalking Whites if they don't take action.
This is where I am most put on the spot. I am burdened by the very uncertainty Hitler decries, but becoming less so every day. How to proceed in this world, this time? I still fear God and want to make my mama proud. I feel torn by the dominant morality. But I cannot ignore the destruction of the White race I see every day. I cannot remain silent, and I cannot remain seated. And so I will not. That is perhaps the true power of Mein Kampf, and Hitler's legacy to White people.
