Warning shot appropriate?

In this video shot yesterday, you see the armed lady is not under threat. When the perpetrator breaks free from his captives, she fires a warning shot causing him to momentarily drop to the ground. Slowing his escape allowed him to be recaptured and held until the police arrived.

Appropriate shot or not?
Fuck no. Why so you think the armed bitch ran away before the police arrived.

Her only saving grace is she didn't shoot the victim in the head and then run away like the guy in Houston. And another dumb **** who fired at the tires of fleeing shoplifters is out on bond and headed to jail. Keep 'em in your panties, kiddos.

Now let's see if any of the gun nuts will denounce the little John Wayne wannabes, including the one who shot the victim in the head and ran instead of rendering aid? He picked up his brass of course, he didn't want to leave evidence.

Waco is about the worst place in the country to commit an openair crime.
WAY too many people 'carry' in Texas to make it a safe place for fucking thugs to always get away.
I'm not 100% positive the woman wasn't trying to shoot the thug but she missed.
Anyway, the negro thug will still be committing crimes in the future. Next time let's hope the shooter is a better shot.

Gun nuts just love to play the hero, and won't denounce anyone who does no matter the results.
Gun nuts ARE the only heros.
Gun nuts are the first people fucking LIB pussies run to for help when they are in any danger........like not getting enough relish on their burger

Walmart shoppers catch man who snatched elderly woman's purse in Waco

Not appropriate and not legal. She should lose her CHL license and face charges. That bullet hit somewhere and luckily for her it wasn't a human.

Agreed.

Warning shots are fine as long as you don't hit an innocent bystander. But that seems almost impossible to guarantee. Where did the bullet land?

Case in point, a gun nut who believes utter bullshit and has no common sense. In this crime the guys who grabbed the guy didn't have guns and the one bitch who did fired, missed thank God, and then ran away like a child.

I'm tired of tolerating thugs.

So yeah...whatever it takes to catch one...do it.

Nuts are nuts...armed or not. While I support the right of nuts to be armed, once their actions with that firearm become nutty, they prove they no longer worthy of that right and should be disarmed and institutionalized.

Yeah, just forget rule 4 of firearms safety....as long as you catch a thug, who cares about any potential collateral damage, right?

Wait, aren't you the campus/transit cop? Why am I not surprised that you're probably badly trained with firearms.
