War Profiteers to We The People : We Are Dismantling The Trump Mandate

I'd be much better off voting for the party that gives me freebies if I lived in a double wide and didn't work. There is a reason those that make the absolute least, if any, vote for Democrats.

Oh, I'd agree, dumb white trash would be better off voting their own interests, but you dumb-ass inbred mouth-breathers keep voting Republican because you hate gays and Mexicans, just like Jesus did.

If you only knew. Funny stuff.

I don't really care that you smear me, but lay off smearing Jesus.

Jesus never existed.

But the fact you can cite him and still enjoy your bigotries is telling.

You are very ignorant, but that is par for the course for people of your ilk.

Saying Jesus never existed is beyond laughable.

Really, What day was he born? That would seem to be a simple one for someone who is a real person. (Hint, it wasn't December 25th, 1 AD)

What day did he supposedly die? Again, it should be a simple one for someone who is a real person.

Between 2-6 AD. When was King Herod, for example, born? Do we know the exact date or is there some gray area? Was he a signifiant figure? Did he exist? How about some other historical figures? Jesus was a significant historical figure who did in fact exist. That is undeniable.

We know Herod the Great was born in 72 AD and died in 4 BCE.

The problem with the J-man is that we have two contradictory stories about when he was born.

The Gospel of Matthew has him born before the death of Herod the Great, which as stated, happened in 4 BCE.

The Gospel of Luke has him born when Cyreneus (also known as Marcus Quirinius) was Roman governor of Judea. This happened in 6 CE.

These stories contradict each other. How can this be?

Well, what we do know today is that both Matthew and Luke heavily cribbed off of the Gospel of Mark. However, both of them felt the need to link Jesus to King David by putting his birthplace in Bethlehem, even though Jesus was from Nazareth.

Matthew's version... Jesus was from Bethlehem originally, but fled to Egypt to avoid Herod's wrath to kill every baby. (A story that exists nowhere else except Matthew's gospel, and sound suspiciously like the story of the Hebrew babies being killed at the beginning of Exodus.) Herod dies, Jesus' family moves to Galilee.

Lukes version. Jesus' family lives in Galilee, but then Cyreneus orders a census where everyone has to return to the city of their ancestors. Which is where you get the silly story about no room at the inn and Jesus being born in a barn. Quirenius didn't become governor of Syria until 6 CE, and the Romans didn't have authority to order a census of people in Galilee, which was till an independent kingdom at that point. A census of Judea makes more sense, the Romans had just turned that into a Roman Province after Herod's son, Archelus, turned out to be kind of a knob. but Galilee was still under the kingship of Herod Antipas.

Also, the Romans didn't conduct censuses this way. They counted people where they were.

And herein lies the problem with all the gospels. They were all written decades after the fact, lots of copying and making stuff up, before the Church became legal, and threw out all the Gospels that didn't support orthodox beliefs (There were dozens of them)

Aww... is the Russian Troll upset Trump isn't immediately surrendering Ukraine?

You see, here's where Trump is kind of fucked. Any peace deal where Ukraine has to give up land will immediately invited comparisons to Neville Chamberlain.

He's really looking for a way to save face.
/—-/ Trump didn’t start this war, but he’s going to end it.

If you mean by ending it, cravenly surrendering to Putin, then, yes, he will end it.

Kind of like how Neville Chamberlain achieved "Peace in our Time" at Munich.
/——/ No, that’s not what I mean. You are always wrong.

If our peace position isn't based on a return to the 2014 borders, anything less than that is appeasement.

The basis of Trump's peace plan is Russia gets to keep most of the territory it's taken, they get the sanctions lifted, and Ukraine is barred from ever joining NATO.

Not sure how Putin walks away from that as anything but a winner.
