Born L.A.-NYC is 2nd home-Rustbelt is home base
The other day I had a wait at automotive at Walmart. So I decided to walk down the golf aisle to see how much of it is from China. About 98% to 99% is from China, the rest is from Taiwan or some other country. Nothing from USA.

I don't know what % of Walmart products are USA made, but it is very low.

Here is one estimate.

.

USA must supply Walmart with ammo, guns, produce, plants, seeds, garden plants, and maybe the odd this or that.

America used to make stuff. I found some sweats from the 80's that were made in USA. And a box of surgical virus masks from the late 90's, made in America. If Walmart ever stops selling guns and ammo due to the dems wet dream of bankrupting gun and ammo makers with lawsuits there will go another chunk of made on America in Walmart's product lineup.

If Beijing Joe and the whore Kameltoe get in then ALL of America will be GIVEN to Communist China.

They give the consumers what they want, I like Fred myers here in Idaho, they sell carhartt products

Walmart offers what you need at a decent price. If you have a problem with Chinese imported goods see Joe Biden.

its 10-year commitment to purchase $250 billion in American-made goods.

Well how much is purchased in American made goods. They start off on that premise but delve into other things. Just answer that question How much did they purchase last year and in the previous years.

Walmart is who it is because people visit the store. It is a choice.

What about Amazon or insert the name of your favorite store here? Costco? Target? Safeway? I doubt it's just Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is known for its low prices, so it has to get merchandise from China. The only criticism I have of that is food from China. We can't trust that and let it into our food chain (poison), but you will find it is already done at your supermarket. Wal-Mart is probably the only competitor to Amazon. Amazon is a practical monopoly and people just let it slide. For some reason, people like to criticize Wal-Mart for its "cheap," i.e. inferior quality, products.

Its silly to blame Walmart for crying out loud....blame the people like Biden that negotiated the trade deals for the last 30 years.....

You walked in the wrong part of the store. Walk in the grocery section. 99% of it is made in America, sans a few of the salsa's made in Mexico.

And before you people start crying about "made in China" you need to understand the logistics of Wal Mart.

They give jobs to:

1. The ship captain and all crew who bring these goods over in their containers.
2. The dock workers who sort the containers
3. The truck drivers who deliver the containers to the stores.
4. The store employees who unload and stock the store with these goods
5. The tens of thousands of employees at the distribution centers around the country who ensure these items get to the stores when and where they need to be there.

Numerous other indirect jobs come from all of these.

Literally the only people who don't have a job because it's made in the China is the person who puts the thing together.

Walmart Foundation ramped up its funding of left-wing groups. Apparently, Walmart realized being unwoke was a bad public relations strategy. By ditching the conservative coalition for the identity-obsessed but class-unconscious left, Walmart could retain its lucrative practices overseas and at home without being criticized.

Walmart Foundation is now a big patron of nonprofits that promote open borders, such as the National Immigration Forum, a group that advocates for amnesty and opposes border enforcement. Walmart gave the National Immigration Forum $2,811,722 in grants from 2017 to 2019. It has given to left-of-center Hispanic identity groups that pursue similar policies: $1,232,127 to the Institute for Latino Progress, $1 million to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, and $250,000 to the Hispanic Federation. The Walmart Foundation, a Microcosm of Woke Capital

I go to CostCo because their products are superior and the help speaks English.

Walmart in Nassau County has been hiring more Americans in the last 2 years.
2 years ago, no one in the stores spoke English.

Drumpf trusted China on the virus so I see no problem with trusting them to make things I may buy.

Wow they have changed. The first Walmart I ever went to had confederate loser flags in them which I promptly pulled off the shelves and threw on the ground.

Sam Walton would probably roll over in his grave. They are going back toward his motto of selling made in America items. He did admit in ‘92 it was getting harder to do.

Well, it took along time, but now we see that the Americans who fought for years to keep the behemoth out of their towns were absolutely right. Thousands of small businesses and business owners were made obsolete by the corrupt marriage between the American businessmen and the communist government.

The next to fall were American manufacturing that no longer had outlets for their products, otherwise the ones who didn't have or want the communist socialist nations abusing their citizen's in order to build cheap products for mass consumption back here in America. Right now American's who undermined this nation by this strategy, and making us weaker, destroying our manufacturing, our steel industry, our jobs industry etc should be under investigation by homeland security in a bid to determine the overall damages from it all today.

That ship sailed a long time ago. ...
