I could take this a step further and say that liberals don't seem to think that they have to consider anyone else if it offends them and their agenda. It's a dangerous mindset. Another example is the Confederate flag and Nazi' memorabilia bad and needs to be removed but fly gay pride flags and rainbow up the white house, regardless that a considerable amount of the country(mostly conservative) disagrees with it, that's OK **** their feelings. What happens if a Conservative wins the White House in 2016? Do liberals want to be treated the same way they are treating conservatives? Could happen.

What would a conservative try to do to liberals if they were elected to the White House? Most of the things conservatives WANT to do to liberals are completely unconstitutional. So I'm not sure what you're worried about.

It was also perfectly constitutional for the person in your OP to be selling his items. So follow the constitution, and you'll be just fine.

Abortion laws,Obama care, laws protecting Christians from having to bake cakes for gay events, tougher immigration laws...

They can close the borders, deport the illegals ,insist sanctuary city's comply with federal law, build a wall and heavily police it. I agree we should have Major welfare reform. Personally I think able-bodied welfare recipients should have to work for the state they live in while getting welfare or possible even pay the money back when they get jobs. Why should assistance be free? You brought those kids into the world you should pay for them. Certainly you can pick up garbage in a park or scrub toilets for your money. He's a thought. Rather than have food stamps have the welfare kids get their three meals at school 24/7/365. That way kids don't go hungry. **** the adults, find a soup kitchen or find work. There was a time before welfare when parents were expected to actually provide for their children themselves. The meals were smaller, the clothes were hand me downs and the kids helped. The decision to strike that Confederate flag should have been based on a consensus vote, not on some politician's idea of what is right or wrong.

I'm from New York and I have no special affection for rednecks, mainly because I know most of them despise me for being a "yankee" and because I once had a bad experience in Myrtle Beach, SC. But I am an American and I'm sufficiently covetous of my Constitutional freedoms to be seriously pissed off at anyone who seeks to subvert them.

That aside, I believe the pressure applied to strike that flag will be counterproductive. Because I am certain there are thousands of extremely resentful and pissed off rednecks who are planning to retaliate.

It’s not clear if the items that were being sold were authentic, but they’re easy to find in Connecticut. Military Specialties, Inc. in Newington sells a variety of historical military objects, including those produced by the Third Reich and Confederate reproductions.

“It’s here and you’re likely to see it,” said co-owner William Moore. “If you want, we’ll talk to you about it and give you the history about it.”

Moore says he supports the caller who dialed up police and is sympathetic to what they felt. As a dealer of commodities with a controversial past, he can see both sides.

“This is America, you can buy and sell whatever you care to,” said Moore.

Police say the mayor’s office is looking into a complaint made over the incident.
