Since when is it a problem that we need political approval to create new bases in Greenland and how is a new treaty, which also requires political approval going to fix that? It’s pretty silly.Ee have some of these things, but with limitations. For example, we would like the freedom to expand our military bases and to add new ones. We would like to add bases in other areas of Greenland. Currently, any of these requires political approval. Denmark and Greenland can currently invite other partners in the EU or even China for civilian type projects. We don’t want that. We also don’t have permanent scientific research stations. They currently have limited leases.
There is plenty we can gain and we will.
I still haven’t figured out why the left is so set on not benefitting the US.
Not sure why you don’t want the EU to have projects in Greenland, but okay.
You’re acting as though we’d been denied something in Greenland and that’s just not the case.
