Wall Street Sinks As Trump Threatens 8 European Countries With Tariffs Over Greenland

.

That's what they say.

The only real estate I have is my home on a quarter acre.

.
Overall, the real estate has been great. But being in CA is getting to be a pain. A few months ago I was going to sell one property and invest in Montana, but the buyer turned out to be a jerk so I canceled.

Condolences. I hate anything that has to do with buying or selling property. Headache.

.

Buying or selling property in CA isn't that big of a problem, getting insurance is. I still ended up buying a property in Montana, just smaller than what was originally planned.
.

Good for you. I lived in Western Montana for a while and loved it. Property there is a good thing to own.

NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks slumped on Wall Street Tuesday after President Donald Trump threatened to hit eight European countries with new tariffs as tensions escalate over his attempts to assert American control over Greenland.

The losses were widespread, with nearly every sector losing ground. Major indexes in the U.S. extended losses from last week in what has been a wobbly start to the year.

The S&P 500 fell 143.15 points, or 2.1%, to 6,796.86. It is the steepest drop for the benchmark index since October.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 870.74 points, or 1.8%, to 48,488.59. The Nasdaq composite fell 561.07 points, or 2.4%, to 22,954.32.

As Trump plays out his Narcissistic delusions about Greenland, he tanking the U.S. Economy. He has very severe dementia and he will destroy country this to achieve his goal.
The S&P is up 15 percent since Trump took office and the Dow up 12 percent

I think they both can handle a 1.8 and 2.4 one day correction.

Damn, talk about a thread aging poorly. :laughing0301:

Jan 21 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday withdrew a threat to impose tariffs on a number of nations for their stance on Greenland, saying he had reached the outlines of a deal with NATO on the island's future.
Cute. People who still take Trump’s statements seriously.

Wanna bet the US doesn't get something out of the deal that we didn't have before? That was the entire point of the threats. I don't think you guys have ever negotiated anything in your lives. You don't seem to understand how negotiations work.
