What do you suggest Trump does at this point?

I don't know if Trump really thought Iran would "make a deal" or not.

I mean really; the entire regime is a death cult of sorts that do not value life in any capacity other than to use their lives to try and destroy Israel and the US.

No, they are not going to make a deal, in fact, they are loving this hoping it will sink the Trump administration as well as the US economy. They would gladly die for that, along with surrendering the lives of all their citizens. Again, they do not value human life in the least.

If I were Trump, I would maybe try to get the international community to take over the Straits of Hormuz in order to at least accomplish something here. It would take away one of the greatest leverages they have internationally that they have.

But don't pretend that Iran is only a problem for Israel. The entire Middle East has been tormented by their terrorism for decades as they would gladly be rid of them if they could. Therefore, they would have a vested interest in helping the US decrease their power considerably by having the international community take over that section of their country.

As for the WMD problem, I suppose you either go in and take out the entire regime, which no country on earth is willing to do, due to the problem that no country has the political will or money to do so, or you just wait will they use one of their WMD's But when they do use one, you simply wipe the entire country off the face of the earth using your own WMD's

Sadly, I don't see any other alternatives.

I've made dumb mistakes in my life. In some cases, I pretended that it was someone else's fault and put the blame on others or I would pretend that I meant to do it and that I had some hidden purpose for my stupid actions. But in other cases, I simply admitted that I made a bad mistake. I swallowed my pride and I asked for forgiveness. I've always felt much better following the second path. And people were always quick to forgive me.

Trump needs to call a national meeting. He needs to apologize to the American people for making promises that he didn't intend to keep (apparently). He needs to focus on the needs of the American people and put things right. He needs to tell Israel that he will no longer be their ***** (female dog if USMB hides the word). He needs to retake the helm and stand up like a man and be the President of the United States and stop catering to foreign interests.

He said once that he wanted to be remembered as "the President of peace." He can still fulfill that legacy -- IF -- he changes direction right this second before things truly escalate out of control. Or ... he can let his pride run the show and be remembered as a villain.
