Wal-Mart commercial used the word "Christmas"!

It's great to see a major retailer unconcerned about political correctness or offending somebody. Every other ad I've seen all using the word "holiday".
Kudos to wally world. They will get my Christmas dollars this year.

Sweet, another 7$!

The only thing I truly hate about Xmas is the religious bullshit. The family and commercial stuff .... cool.

But there's no actual connection between the birth of baby Jesus and the actual date and history of the holiday. The one positive religious thing about it is that all the people who show up at churches they don't normally support give money. It wears out the church staff, but it keeps a lot of parishes afloat. But, even ignoring the fact that the New Testament's account of the birth may have little connect to reality, there is Christian symbolism, and it really is lost with the commercialism.

Omg, the protestors will be there fast!
Has there ever been a protest because any store or business used the term Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays? There have been lots of bible thumpers whining for using the term Happy Holidays, but I don't know of any the other way around. If you know of any, please let me know.

Sure you don't have that backwards?

Pretty sure. I can't find a single example of anyone protesting over the use of the term Merry Christmas. There have been a few protests from people who thought their religious beliefs should be included as well, but none against Christmas. If you know of any, or even one, please let me know.
Well, in a way, the msm is protesting by ommitting the word Christmas and substituting the word holiday.

No it's not.

So you like the idea of commercialism drowning out the sublime message of Christmas (rightly or wrongly dated as the birth of Christ) which is "Come together as a family and celebrate the birth of the message that men can strive to a higher cause than their base animal drives"..

The War On Christmas™ is a fiction invented specially for the rube herd, of which you are clearly a part.

Here's a Target commercial which says "Christmas" at least a dozen times. Masturbate to your heart's content!

Here's a nice gay Christmas commercial from Kmart which you should love:

You don't have to be a Christian to have a religious celebration for those things. All other religions have the same type celebrations. Should everybody be forced to celebrate your religious holidays and have the country just ignore theirs?

I've seen commercials from other retailers doing the same thing. It's gotta be driving the Lefties bonkers.

LOL Conservatives that bitch about Liberals being so sensitive are now being sensitive and offended that a private company decides to say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas"
