WACO: Walz caves, agrees to work with Trump and Homan on getting illegal criminals out of Minnesota

Walz caves, agrees to work with Trump and Homan

Trump is being played.
  1. Walz will get on the MSM to announce that Trump and the Feds are backing down and agreeing to work with him. Walz will promote this as further proof what a great governor he is working hard for the people and that Trump is making concessions because he and ICE are wrong.
  2. Walz is both trying to save his political career as well as ameliorate any Somali fraud case against him. He is telling Trump: "Back off this Somali daycare fraud thing and I'll work with you a little on ICE."
  3. Democrats will turn this around to attack both ICE and Trump with.
Walz isn't caving, he is falling back and regrouping, trying to barter the few chips he has left for some long-term gain for himself. Walz gets off scott free and none of these rabidinous street loons attacking ICE get charged. They might even negotiate some payment to the Good family for the loss of poor Renee.

Never trust a democrat farther than you can throw a dead cat rolled up in a 24'X24' rolled up soaking wet shag carpet.

No one will go to jail. Certainly none of the master minds or political operatives. At best, a couple of immigrants who already have a record will get a couple of months and some community service and taxpayers wont receive a nickel back from the money stolen other than the repossession of some fancy cars etc.
You, as usual don't know what you're talking about.

Honestly, it looks like Trump is looking for a graceful way out.

Homan has replaced Noem as the person in charge of the operation, they are going to let MN investigate the murders of Pretti and Good, and they are pulling CBP officers out of MN.

Trump is tying to get a face saving transfer of custody of aliens in prisons in MN, but they could have had that at any time.

Looks like the recent revelation that Walz's own staff members are involved in the Signal group that's hunting ICE agents in the state was the final straw for the governor, and he's going to man up and work with the federal government to clean up his corrupt shithole of a state.

Too late in his case, he's still going down for his role in the massive theft of taxpayer dollars he's overseen. But, it's better than nothing.

Walz's office put out a statement as well.

From Fox 21:

Sounds like a victory for the Governor.

There was not going to be an independent investigation…now the blob has agreed to one.

That will change of course when the blob realizes he’s opened the door to accountability.

IKR….

not sure why the OP thinks this is a victory. Nicotine poisoning I assume

Biden already sent 47 to jail dingy

You mean when TRUMP told people to protest peacefully, or when he told protesters to go home when protests became a riot?

Perhaps you can post where Walz or Frey has called for protesters to go home when protests have night after night turned in to riots.
He also told the to “fight like hell” and Rudy told them to “have trial by combat”

You, as usual don't know what you're talking about.
We are talking about hundreds of millions stolen.

Can you provide a link to what was recovered?

Maybe you guys will get the same police sharing deal the RCMP are working on with China, improve your focus.

No, YOU are talking about it just parroting the bullshit spoonfed to you by your right wing keepers. The investigation is ongoing & those responsible will be held accountable. So you can put down your Kleenex until you find something else to whine about.

But congragulations to you people for running Tim Walz out of office who's a good man.

Perhaps you have lower standards.

You can learn from the Chinese police. The RCMP are going to become much closer to them, does that not concern you?

Is Walz calling up the 1st Minnesota like in the Civil War?

White House Wobbles, Distancing Trump From Initial Response to Minnesota Killing

Officials clearly understood that the fatal shooting of a demonstrator posed one of the gravest political threats to President Trump since his inauguration.

Faced with broad outcry over the killing of a protester on Saturday in Minneapolis, the White House on Monday pulled a top border official from the city and tried to distance President Trump from the response of his most senior officials, who had immediately characterized the man fatally shot by federal agents as a “domestic terrorist” who was “brandishing” a gun, before video evidence undercut their charges.

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, notably did not defend the rhetoric of White House officials, including Stephen Miller, the deputy chief of staff, and Kristi Noem, the homeland security secretary, who were the most vocal in spreading false accusations against the victim, Alex Pretti. Mr. Pretti was shot roughly 10 times by immigration agents after he was apparently filming them with his camera.

He was licensed to carry a gun in Minnesota, but video from several angles shows he never pulled one, and his hands were visible as he was shot in the back.

White House officials clearly understood that the killing, the second of an American citizen protesting the presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Minneapolis, posed one of the gravest political threats to Mr. Trump since his inauguration just a little over a year ago. Yet they seemed frozen in place, unwilling to walk back the statements by Mr. Miller and Ms. Noem, which were widely repeated throughout the administration, while sending Ms. Leavitt out to insist that “we will let the facts lead and we will let the facts play out in this investigation.”

Trump & DOJ want registration data on Minnesota voter's. In fact, Gestapo Barbie sent Walz a nasty gram demanding them, & he told her to get lost. This is a political shakedown & Trump's ICE goons will stay in MN until Walz caves in. This is not about immigration, it's about Trump's fascist mob getting their paws on that voter registration data. And two innocent people were murdered because of it. People need to wake the hell up.

End of story.
