Well, the World Health Organization says it. Yes I know, Watts on second base.

WHO says women of childbearing age should be BANNED from drinking alcohol

  • Alcohol Action Plan calls on countries to raise awareness of alcohol-related harm
  • It warns of drinking in children, pregnant women and women of childbearing age
  • Last night the drinks industry described the proposal as paternalistic and sexist

It is no surprise that the WHO is telling women what the doctors and the AMA in the US have been saying for as long as I can remember and probably before I was alive, the same goes with smoking. Imagine that...

Yes, according the Lou Abbott, Watts on second base.

Like racism, sexism (it appears) is acceptable when it comes from the top of the chain elites trying to pontificate.

Ridiculous thing to say.

Why would the WHO be concerned about the effects of alcohol on Dim women who will abort the child anyway?

No, you're not getting it. The W.H.O. is saying women of child-bearing years should NEVER drink alcohol.

They've always said they shouldn't drink WHILE pregnant, but were they saying they shouldn't drink ALL during their child-bearing years?

It all depends on the doctor. I have heard some claim you should never ever drink and smoke and some say it is ok with moderation...
